You are right. Cameroon, Ivory Coast and dem dem are not ready with stadiums and hotels. I believe Naija is more ready after Ghana and South Africa.

why cant they postpone the tournament? Africa is facing deadly ebola crises and all CAF want is show of power by forcing this tournament down the throat of Morocco. Health first before sports.

If another country hosts the AFCON, Morocco should be thrown out. Africans should not be playing AFCON with North African countries in any way. They are supposed to join the Arab soccer league.

1. Change statutes, sanctions concerning the allocation of hosting rights, postponement, stand bys etc...

GOOD DECISION. INFRASTRUCTURE WISE GHANA IS NOT READY. THE 4 STADIA BUILT FOR CAN 2008 HAS BEEN LET TO ROT. AND THEY WILL NEED A LOT OF MONEY TO REHABILITATE THEM. WHERE IS THE MONEY TO DO IT.

This subject reveals how dumb our leaders on the continent are; no-one is able to boldly step up and host the AFCON tournament. There is crisis here as the Ebola threat takes the continent by storm; there's no Health Care System, no good Health posts to research and deal with the Ebola virus. By now, our African Scientists and the various Research Institutes should have come together to research and find an antidote to this canker.

Everybody is scared to host AFCON-2015. So the question begs to be answered; who is to host the continent's all-important football tournament in this Ebola crisis and what are the best solutions to prevent or stop its outspread? It seem no gov't has any vision except the usual rhetoric about plans on what will be done or needs to be done when make they appear on the airwaves or make the news headlines.

I believe CAF should cancel next years tournament in the face of the crisis until it's reported that there's total control since every country is afraid to host it.

I understand your sentiment about finding solutions. My position is that Morocco could have offered to host the final four and ask that group stages be hosted by the top four seeds and quarterfinals can be hosted by the group winners. This reduces risks for any particular country. Ebola will take years to solve so we cannot create a situation where all activities are getting cancelled. We need solutions on how to keep things as normal as possible even with Ebola.
