The Vise President should take over and lead the country until elections to decide who becomes the next President. The point here is that many of Burkina citizens don't believe in the EC and fear of another rigging that's why there seem to be some misunderstanding.

I think Compaore should be made to account for his 27 years of his stewardship. Why should he leave a country he has ruled for more than a quarter of a century if he had nothing to hide.I personally l don't think African leaders should allowed these kind of people into their capitals after they have mismanaged their countries resources. Africans in the region must insist on why Compaore can't stay in his own country. The way of doing politics in Africa must change by bringing these kind of corrupt leaders to book.

Democracy is good and what had happened to Compaore must be a lesson to African leaders.

African political elites do not learn lessons from the down falls of other political leaders on the continent. They see it differently, thinking, this happened in Egypt or Tunisia but not in my bonafied country. The soldiers are bought with high pay and feels, that is quite enough to sustain the presidency, forgetting about the turbulent life conditions of the populace. As this is happenning in Burkina Fass, there are other African leaders who are status quo bedevilling their country,s men and women and instead of taking lessons from this situation and make a change for a new direction, they are tightening their grips with false hopes until the inevitable happens.

The stupiduty, greed of some Africa leaders is here for all to see. After staging their murderous coups, they put a corrupt machinery in place which will help them win elections after elections in their countries. Rawlings did it in Ghana, Campore in Mali. They subject their subjects to servitude and treat the country as thier personal propety, amassing wealth for themselves and their cronies as the populace wallow in abject poverty. Campore, after 27 yrs, you should have given it up.But no, greed and power drunk drove you to scheme to change the constitution so that you could hang on for another 5yrs.And this time, the people and the masses said enough is enough and revolted against you. It is true that you amassed millions dubiously when you were in power, ( this is what most African leaders do,stealing from their own people). But living in self imposed exile due to your own greed is not the same. You could have become an elder stateman , live in your own country and enjoy your stolen millions. You have lost your respect and diginity at home, and you will always be looking over your shoulders any where you go. Ask your self, was this greed worth it. All greedy African leaders are you taking heed. Stop the stupidity.
