We are living in a country where the central government cannot meet its commitment in paying wages & salaries of workers; where people cannot afford basic necessities like water and electricity; increasing labour unrest among others. We are living in a society with high rate of unemployment resulting in increasing immoral practices like prostitution, robbery, corruption, and many more which have not been addressed to but the government is giving top priority to sophisticated devices to be used in the parliamentary chamber, then I cannot think if we are very serious as a country. It is an accepted fact that we are in computer age but does not mean we should abreast to such change even if we cannot afford at this time. After all Parliamentarians should be capable of acquiring their own devices in their own interest and the interest of their constituencies. I bet you, about 65% of our parliamentarians cannot even be able to put to good use these so-called devices even after the paid training at the taxpayers expense. To curtail my writing, the acquisition of these devices will make no impact on our society at this era of economic
struggling and should not be tolerated.

Will these lazy, pregnant, smelly fools have time from their chinchinga, booze and concubines to sit down and learn anything?
These bums have been avoiding computers for 2 decades now for fear of their underhanded deals being tracked.
Now, even if they manage to learn anything, will they accept the prospect that they have to put all their dealings on computer, and then back up the data, just in case the original gets lost in a crash?
First Lesson, MPs: CRASH means COMPUTER FAILURE.

Good news. Computer literacy is a must for this century. Our legislators must use the new tools to be efficient and effective. That should help them to to better understand and support ICT programs in their constituencies .

They needed no training in corrupt practices, so why waste money training them on how to use electronic devices? Most never even show up for deliberations in Parliament, and when they do, they stay for a short time and leave to carry out their kalabule politics. These guys need electronic ankle bracelets to track their every movement, not training on electronic devices.
