Poor Ghana with mis understanding of the right prorities in life. Minister are given free petrol whilst the poor vulnerbale are made to school under treees, hospital left without proper proper diagnostic tools for cholera. Surely if the President cares so much standards of care should be uniform evevrywhere in the country. Is the Minister of Health not ensuring this?

How much does Incubator for cultures in Medical Laboratory cost? It shame for the Hospital administrator to be talking about this in the media. One can get this type of incubator for less than 3000 Ghana cedis. Hospital managers do not see the Laboratory as priority. It is in emergency situations such as the outbreak of cholera before they appreciate the importance of medical laboratory services.

The P/NDC and its sycophant stomach politicians, claiming to be supporters of the failed Nkrumah's ideology, are nothing but cutthroat, blood sucking vampires and nation wreckers masquerading as socialists. No wonder they have failed again to improve the economy with all the revenues from oil and high commodity prices. They are even courting HIPC again after being in power for six years. These guys can cook figures to deceive Ghanaians, but they cannot cook figures to deceive the IMF.

'w'ano hwam' mahmoud, your mouth smells like french perfume, your choice of words are remarkable and sweet like honey. give us some more!!! but that administrator must be careful. we dont need any equipment to diagnose cholera but rather, to confirm it. the effortless, non colic and spurrios diarrhoea diarrhoea of light rice water like stools are enough to diagnose cholera. lots of patients will perish if one awaits lab confirmation before rapid iv infusion. he should have left that part to a medical officer. great words, mahmoud.

The culture of the samples was also positive. There was an outbreak of cholera which was then well managed and the municipality is safe now.
The hospital can purchase an incubator which is less costly than an air conditioner normally bought for the directors office. Please invest well and your hospital will be up and running
why is it that medical officers want to be recepients of govt goodies and not think and act as leaders of health care in this country
