I was shock when Mahama was busily in the drainage, Oko, the mayor of Accra was standing there clapping his hands.No vision was at work.

Maybe mahama thinks Ghanaians are fools and will be swayed by anything. What he should know is that, the presidency is a position, leadership, motivator and not a title. Put proper plans on the ground and get rid of all these filt that is swollowing the Country. You and your ministers are making cheap talks everywhere meanwhile things are getting out of hand.   The National Sanitation Day in Ghana which started yesterday, 1-11-2014, was a negative milestone, showing how poorly we have been performing as a people and the visionless leaders we have getting since the 1970s. There was cholera in Ghana in the late 60s because of filth. Choked gutters, filthy streets, and people defecating everywhere were common in the 80s. JJ Rawlings blamed previous leaders for the filth in the cities and villages in 1982. JJ as such led volunteers including the Students Task Force from the tertiary institutions in clean-up campaigns in cities, towns and villages. One of the charges against previous leaders was the filth that we saw everywhere in Ghana. We, the Student Task Force used the clean-ups as means to get community people’s attention. We told them our county was dirty because of poor leadership and asked them to support the Revolution for a better Ghana for all.
  And 32 years later President John Mahatma has launched a campaign to clean-up villages and cities. WHAT IS WRONG WITH US? WHICH PREVIOUS BAD LEADER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PRESENT FILTH AND OUT-BREAK OF CHOLERA? IN 1982 WE POINTED ACCUSING FINGURES AT LIMAN OF 1979-1981. WHICH VISIONLESS LEADER SHOULD WE ACCUSE FOR THE PRESENT FILTH: PRESIDENT RAWLINGS WHO LEFT THE SEAT AS FAR BACK AS 2000, PRESIDENT JAK WHO LEFT OFFICE IN 2008, PRESIDENT MILLS WHO DIED IN 2012 OR PRESIDENT JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA WHO HAS BEEN INTEGRAL PART OF GOVERNMENT THE PAST 6 YEARS?
  INDEED IT IS IDIOCY TO REPEAT THE MISTAKES OF THE 1970S IN 2014 AND CALL PEOPLE TO EMBARK ON NATIONAL CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN GIVING IT a NEW NAME “NATIONAL SANITATION DAY”
  THIS IS NOT ANYTHING TO BE PROUD OF; IT IS INDEED A SIGN OF BACKWARDNESS; A MILESTONE OF IDIOCY. I NEVER THOUGHT THIS WILL HAPPEN IN GHANA AGAIN.
