Say I bought a new refrigerator (energy efficient) that does not contain any harmful chemicals in the USA 2 years ago and want to ship it to Ghana now. How does the law treat such item? I know the law was made for older fridges that were not energy efficient and also contained harmful chemicals not good for the ozone layer. But how about newer fridges that have been slightly used overseas?

nice but only stoves or large ac's can be used with out transformer to bring 250(or 208-220) down to 110 volt..buy in UK or Germany

Since time immemorial second hand clothing and used fridges have been used by all including officials of the so- called energy commission. Please leave Ghanaians to work for their daily bread and stop centralsing everything to favour the government.

Only in Ghana do seized goods get destroyed. Aren't there any charities, old people homes, children homes that can make use of these goods?
The way our policy makers think leaves so much to be desired. Shame!
