  Atik Mohammed is a member of a wee smoking gang at Mamobi. After smoking they congregate at a dog meat joint not far from the gutter.
  
  One day the dog meat seller made the mistake of selling the dog head to another patron because Atik was late and she thought he was not coming. Atik nearly tore down the skies. But for some of his other co-smokers who probably did not smoke too much like Atik, Atik would have roasted the woman alive. Among all the insults Atik reminded the woman of her bad old days. I will not be uncouth enough to repeat Atik's words.
  
  It is sad ghanaweb has provided a platform for the good, the bad and nasty like Atik.

  Mr. Muhammed, could you remember that Rawlings used the TUC and its workers as a launch pad to overthrow the government of Liman fraudulently? Could you also remember that he used to take 'Kenkey' to Legon to demonstrate how the size had shrunk under Liman, and we ended up with the "Rawlings' Chain" in his regime but nobody could talk? And could you also remember that Nkrumah used to incite workers to strike against the Whiteman and later on outlawed strikes and said they were unpatriotic in his regime when the economic situation was genuinely difficult for workers?
  
  I don't believe NPP is behind the present wave of strikes. However, if the allegations are perceived to be true, then they are surely not doing so to overthrow any regime unlawfully. They may be highlighting the failings and excesses of the NDC government, hopping that it would translate into votes for the party in the next elections. And that is in fact, a genuine politics. Everybody in Ghana knows that cost of living under the NDC government is unbearable, and NPP could be seizing the opportunity to convince Ghanaians not to vote for the party in the next elections. Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with highlighting the failings of an incapable government in order to wrestle power from it democratically. NDC government is the cause of these strikes because of corruption, over spending and mismanagement of the economy that have brought untold hardship on Ghanaians.
  
  Moreover, the monies collected from workers have virtually disappeared, and that Thomson guy at SSNIT is not to be trusted. He is a vampire, and his brother is the other Thomson that was at STC as CEO of the company, and has been removed this year by its workers for pension funds and other wrongdoings. Until the "Big" Thomson at SSNIT is also removed, the extent of the damage done to workers' pensions in this country will never be known. SSNIT is bankrupt and the monies have been misused.
  
  The only lasting solution to this impasse is to send BNI to SSNIT to investigate and unearth the stinking rot kept in their big cupboards. What BNI will find will send every Ghanaian into the street calling for "blood to flow". Unfortunately, the government itself seems to have a hand in the malfeasance, and that is a potential impediment that workers would have to face.

All Atik does is to attack the integrity of Mahama even if the topic of discussion has nothing to do with Mahama. He simply is doing the bidding of his fellow Mamprusi Bawomia of NPP. He pretends to be PNC but always on the side of the party and the people that never respects the north and at very least his premitive Mamprusi tribe.
