It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

As much as I hate to admit Rawlings was right with his statement. If they have had listen to those who were concern with the president health, he might be alive today.

Political instability and civil conflict in Africa is direct result of corruption and entrench political power. Corruption affect development growth, nation building and effective leadership. Leadership will be compromise if they allow corruption and propaganda as a means of power entrenchment. Ghana infant democracy is culminated with corruption,abuse of political power,and cronism and effective leadership . Present Ghanas political leadership have brought untold economic hardship to the populace,due to lack of accountability and transparency from those in power. Ghana at moment on crossroad waiting for a TIME BOMB to disrupt and peace in the country. Ghana now need a change of political leadership. The 2016 general election is the only weapon Ghanaian electorates weilds to bring a lasting change of political leadership in GHANA

In civilized countries such as the US, China, Japan etc, the people's representatives tackle all issues and resolve them. Not jungle politics of demonstrations day in and day out.
