RELIGION IS GEOGRAPHICAL. MY FRIENDS BORN IN NIMA TO MUSLIM PARENTS ARE MOSTLY MUSLIMS. IF U ARE BORN IN INDIA U BECOME A HINDU. IF U ARE BORN IN THE ARAB WORLD, U BECOME A MUSLIM.
VERY FEW PEOPLE STUDY ALL THE MAJOR RELIGIONS TO FIND A TRUTHFUL ONE. PEOPLE ARE JUST BORN INTO A RELIGION.
THIS TALK ABOUT A TRUE RELIGION IS JUST UNREASONABLE.
MOST PEOPLE WOULD JUST FOLLOW THE RELIGION OF THEIR CULTURE AND THAT CANNOT BE CHANGED TO ANY LARGE EXTENT.
HUSSEIN, STOP THIS NONSENSE OF RELIGIOUS SUPERIORITY. NO RELIGION IS SUPERIOR. ALL RELIGION IS MAN-MADE. THEY ALL HAVE TRUTHS AND CONTRADICTIONS.
WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART IS WHAT IS IMPORTANT. HOW GOOD A PERSON YOU ARE IS WHAT MATTERS. THERE ARE EVIL CHRISTIANS AND EVIL MUSLIMS.
STOP PUSHING UR RELIGION DOWN OUR THROATS. LET US BREATHE. REMEMBER MANY RELIGIONS HAVE COME AND GONE. BEFORE JUDAISM, CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM, THERE WERE OTHER RELIGIONS.
LEAVE US ALONE, HUSSEIN.
JUST BE A GOOD PERSON AND FORGET ABOUT THE NAME OF THE GOD U WORSHIP.

If we can understand our differences, then can doi more to live peacefully with each other. despite the bitter aspects of religion, religion is filled with truth. how can u defend your trust in stone or and object when you knew God wants you to worship Him alone. for some guys like Hussein, it is their innate passion and call to teach the light of religion and they would be questioned as to why they refused to preach the truth to those that need them. Don't blame someone for doing his duty please.

I see the use of the name of God synonymously with the Allah of Islam in this treatise. Is Allah the the same as the God of the Jews and Christians?
No. For your information the God of Israel and Christians is Yahweh. And one very important distinguishing difference is that God sent his only begotten Son (monogenes =one of a kind, unique) to save the sinful Adamic race. Islam claims God has no son. But observe:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (monogenes huios), that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16-17.
Sin (the transgression of God's law) and its eradication in the life are man's greatest problems. God solved these problems by offering man grace,
unmerited favor, to obey God's law and be sinless before him in the plan of salvation during our time of probation on earth. Jesus, The Christ (Savior) was The Initiator of grace and the Ratifier of Grace (Isaiah 42:6; Matthew 26:26-28). In Christ man rediscovers the wisdom which the first Adam failed to live by (Genesis 2:16-17, daa'th - knowledge, wisdom; Jesus our wisdom --1 Corinthians 1:30).
To be our Redeemer, Jesus had to come to our planet as our Elder Brother to live a perfect Godlike life for us an example.
"For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps" 1 Peter 1:22.
The Old Testament announced his coming by prophets, priests, and kings. Of great significance is the sacrificial system which showed the necessity that the Christ would pitch his tent with humanity and will live and die (with the possibility of losing his crown as God) and be like the progeny of Adam--a lost people) if he failed to live a perfect Godlike life.
But he did not sin (1 Peter 1:22). No human being has ever been sinless. That is why Christ can be our mediator to pass the merits of his righteousness to those who obey His Commandments.
Blood Sacrifice is now history. God is presently not accepting any more blood sacrifice because all the blood sacrifices pointed to the coming of the Savior who had initiated grace and would ratify (confirm) it by his own blood which occurred at Calvary.
Let's take advantage of a saving truth--an unmerited favor to keep God's Law, for this the whole duty of man.
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." Ecclesiastes 12:13-14.

Remember the New Testament was written in Greek.
"Only begotten son" in the Greek is "monogenes huios". This translation is never a problem for Spanish speaking people because the translation is the same as the Greek: "mono"= one; "genes" = of kind,
Thus monogenes= one of a kind, unique, only, sole--a connotation of a never-to-be repeated action.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (monogenes huios), that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16-17.

Well said. But will they listen. It is more difficult for them to listen than it is for a camel to enter the eye of a needle, as the Holy Bible puts it.
The strange thing I note is that the writer is talking about another Islamic prophet, Salih, an Arab, presumably - one other than Muhammad himself. And this Prophet was able to perform a miracle as opposed to Muhammad who did not or could not perform one when the people challenged him to, to prove that he was a prophet. As the Koran recounts, Muhammad's response to a similar challenge was to ask the challengers to produce a single verse, if they could, that would be equal to any of the verses he was producing. So he was producing verses that were unmatchable!
The other day,a Muslim friend quoted one of the so-called unsurpassable verses which, coincidentally, I happened to know. The verse in question, Surah 5.75, talks about Allah confronting Jesus with the question as to whether He, Jesus, and his Mom, Mary, were teaching the people that they were two Gods besides Him.
In his overarching zeal to make Jesus an ordinary man like him, Muhammad schemed this verse in which Jesus denies His deity as a Son of God. We could observe, interestingly, that Jesus is not the Son of Allah, but He is the Son of God. In which case Muhammad must be right because we may be talking about two different Dieties, God and Allah.
The point here, however, is: There's nowhere in the Bible that Mary ever clearly preached to the people while Jesus was alive. Secondly, the Holy Bible never presented God charging anybody of wrongdoing, when the person is actually innocent - and when that individual expresses his innocence, God accepts that expression as an answer. If this were ever to occur, God would definitely have the last word: He would rebuke that individual because that individual would be definitely guilty, to begin with. The all-knowing God will never, for the sake of His honor, put Himself in a position to be contradicted. Or, He doesn't come to question anyone for the purpose of getting informed, Himself.
It is sad you have such fallacious verses in the Koran and yet Muhammad was claiming that nobody could ever produce one of them.
As for my Muslim friend, when he got my point, he left with his tail between his legs, sad to say. We are still friends, though. But he will never give up; he is a fighter. He can't forsake his Muslim family for the sake of the truth. He is one who will prefer, in the circumstances, to sink with the untruth.
This calls for prayer. Amen.

In his overarching zeal to make Jesus an ordinary man like him, Muhammad schemed this verse in which he makes Jesus Himself deny His deity as a Son of God. The first point here, however, is: There's nowhere in the Bible that Mary ever clearly preached to the people while Jesus was alive. Secondly, and most importantly, the Holy Bible never presented God charging anybody with wrongdoing, when the person was actually innocent - and when that individual expressed his innocence, God accepted that expression as an answer. If this were ever to occur, God would definitely have the last word: He would rebuke that individual because that individual would be definitely guilty, to begin with. The all-knowing God will never, for the sake of His honor, put Himself in a position to be contradicted by any being, not even by His Holy Son who, being holy, should never be found doing that in the first place. Not even a mere prophet who is worth his salt, will go that route of contradicting God. Or, God, the Holy Father, doesn't come to question anyone for the purpose of getting informed, Himself. And, for instance, He won't come to ask any innocent person: "Are you stealing," just for the purpose of teaching the person that he should not steal. Even we human beings won't do that.
It is sad you have such fallacious verses in the Koran and yet Muhammad was claiming that nobody could ever produce one of them.

Jesus, in the Bible, walked peacefully with people, witnesses, around Him. The witnesses bore witness that He was crucified. That was what their eyes saw. And He was resurrected: He revealed Himself several times afterwards to them. He even in orderly fashion installed Peter as the leader or, if you will, the first Pope. God, surely, is a God of order. You can't have such order of succession in Islam. For six hundred years, Allah didn't find it worthwhile to send another Jew, since all the prophets until Muhammad were Jews, to come and effectively, through signs and miracles, (for God knows that it's the way to peacefully win the hearts of people) - God didn't send a more powerful "Prophet" than Jesus to come and straighten up what had been "wrong" for 600 years. He rather sent for the first time an Arab. No public miracles, except verbal ones. No healing. Physically defensive and most often offensive as it is happening now. And this prophet claims through an angel that everything that had Scripturally existed for 600 years was wrong: God had accepted for His people to live in falsehood all the time. What the people saw physically of Jesus being led away to be crucified was an illusion. His death on the cross was an illusion not to talk about his resurrection and the wonderful things He did afterwards, including the call of a hard-core Jew, Saul/Paul. To Islam, Jesus didn't die. He was whiisked away: God won't let His prophet be killed, they ignorantly claim. But Jesus came for that very purpose: To be the ultimate lamb to be sacrificed once and for all, for our sins. "The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (1 Cor. 1:18). Paul, by the miracle-working Spirit granted him by his Caller, declared,as if envisaging what would happen 600 years later, when we would be made to believe that Christ being crucified was an illusion. If that's the case, then Allah is the illusionist, the deceiver. Surely, if Christ were carried away, would not the followers have embraced that fact more readily than the painful fact of the cross? For even they didn't fully understand at the time that Christ, their Wonderful Hero was to die on the cross, as the Scripture had prescribed. They would have loved to boast about a heroic Jesus taken into Heaven, straight. But 600 years later, this is what would be recommended to us. Not what the witnesses' eyes saw; but what a solo angel would recount, 600 years later!
How this latter account should come about should not surprise us as to what the wily one can do. Matt 7:15 warns us to "Watch out for the false prophets. They come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their FRUIT you will recognize them."
We thank God that as His word goes, He first planted His garden through His Son. And as Satan always works, he should be expected to show up very soon to destroy the garden. Good and evil are always in constant struggle. Interestingly it's not God who will show up in Satan's garden, but vice versa. So, by the law of nature, God's garden must come first. Then Satan's must follow. It could be hundreds of years later. It is not possible for this not to have happened. Nature allows no vacuum and certainly not a spiritual vacuum, albeit conflicting ones of good and bad. The good seeds and the bad must grow together until the harvest - Matt13:30. The bad seeds can't be uprooted earlier.
Let us pray.

You can call God any name and it the same God. Jews believe in God and from there you can call God whatever name that pleases you and far as you know what God is.
Ibrahim (saw) was given that knowledge. Islam (peace) is the massage of all religions. You can call yourself anything as far as you know there is God and you will meet him one day. All those who believe life after death follow Islam, the commandment God gave to Moses.
The old testimony, old Bible is the continuation of todays Quran. The words in the bible are the same in the Quran.
Is the old bible the same as the bible written 1000 after the death of Jesus. Yes they are the same.
There is only one way to heaven and that is to follow Islam (peace) the religion given to mankind thru Moses. Moses couldnt write the old bible without God. The old bible is the words of God and the new bible written after Jesus death is a remain of the true teaching of the old bible.
All Muslim believes in the old and new bibles. Jesus didnt have a bible different of the of Moses. Jesus only preach what Moses was preaching.
Mohammed (saw) like Moses was give a massage to write down for the world to follow and to make peace like that of Moses.
