the problem with this northern mentality is that thanks to jj they now all have an unquenchable thirst for power but never to serve in a team or accept their fellow countrymen . just look around in Accra and study the majority of the businesses owned by these northerners and in the majority of the medium and Small sized businesses you notice they only employ their fellow northerners and practically never employ an Akan . Today in Accra the largest religious building in the country will be the mosque being build on our national park at Nima donated by Turkey confirming the Islamic domination of Ghana. Tribalism mixed with chauvinism and despotism from the north has now equaled the hegemony of the ewes . A.C.C.R.A any criminal can roam about so we have them everywhere now . even at the scholarship secretariat hardly ever is an Akan awarded the privilege to go abroad and study now . The Akans are the majority but because most continue to sleep or blindly trust the other tribes these atrocities are taking place . We look at the political strategy of the NDC and see the typical Hannibal wench when he turned the strengths of the mighty Roman army against themselves as they are doing to the Akans . From the south they use part of the Fantis and from the North the Brongs , from behind we have the chariot onslaught of the Gas Ewes Krobos. Yes the political landscape reflects a war which is only meant to destroy the right of self governance of the God's chosen nation of Africa the Akan . For them its a big deal who leads the NPP but we really don't care as our movement grows stronger by the hour as more and more Akans wake up to reality of this dire situation .more than 95 % of our people know this govt has failed and will continue to fail because their corrupt minds can never do anything good .they are rotten to the core

You made a good point of trying to produce more sugur and rice in the country with the help of IMF, and also put measures in place to curb the unbridle corruption that has reached astronomical levels under the NDC and your leardership.
The question that comes to mind is, what was the NDC doing since it took power six years ago with the oil money if it knew all along that production of more sugur and rice was was essential to the evelopment of the economy? And now that you have only two years left in office, do you think you can use two years to accomplish what you failed to do in six years? Frankly, I think you are just making a political statement without any commitment to fighting corruption or producing more sugur and more rice.
As always, the fundamentals of NDC have been wrong from the begining.

In just two years, John Dramani Mahama and the NDC have brought Ghana to its knees economically. Now, after stealing all of Ghana's money, these stupid and low life miscreants from the NDC are plotting more of the same misery on Ghanaians in 2016? Ghanaians would be the biggest fools on this planet if they vote for NDC in 2016. And, when will the corrupt Electoral Commissioner be changed? Dr. Afari-Djan has no credibility whatsoever!

Is he not hiding in the comforts of the Ghana High Commission London delivering this press conference?
Read his speech correctly as he says he prefers to call these press conferences in the High Commission rather than those town hall meetings with Ghanaian diaspora.
Obviously President Mahama does not want to face the wrath of ordinary Ghanaians in the diaspora and being whisk away through tunnels but would rather talk to them behind veils of diplomatic Ghana High Commission.

But no figure was given for fighting Ebola, neither was the cost of the technology for fighting the pervasive corruption in our country.
The international community should give Ghana about $500 million to fight Ebola in the subregion, and $50 million to invest in anti-corruption technology.
Let's make Martin Amidu the Czar to coordinate all these efforts.

Joe Turkey, why ask where he got monies for California houses. The guy was an errand boy for Kwashi Rawlings And Agya Atta, and guess what, being a "Pepenii ba", Mahama knows how to boot-lick to get what he wants. Remember also, that he has said on record, that Agya Atta handed over to him(Mahama) all presidencial duties bofore he(Atta Mills) was killed.
How then do you ask where he got his money. If that is the case then, you should also ask Papa J and Nana K, what happened to the gold money they smuggled to Switzaland. Where is the money in the PNDC account#48; where is the 31st December women's money, where is the PAMSCAD money, and where is Cecilia Johnson?
All these questions must be answered by some so-called people of accountability, before your question about where Mahama got his monies, couled be answered.
Even I can easily answer that for you Joe, and I can also justify that.
So don't fret yourself about Mahama, all of them are corrupt to the core and it is up to the massive Ghanaian people to say no to all of them.
Joe Turkey, remember also that when JJ Rawlings and his wife satisfied themselves with enough Ghana gold bars and monies, they forgot their own accountability slogan and, when faithful journalists like George Naekin and Haruna Attah revealed the secret, they were jailed for the truth. So Mahama is not the first corrupt Ghana President, JJ is the worst and the most hypocrite of them all. But don't worry, one day all of them will also die like everybody.
I will come again.

You questions seem poignant but you tainted them with bigotry, disparaging the President with that "Pepeniiba" insult.
Why can't you just stick to the questions? You are no more a human being than those you call "Pepenii". I deem such attitude as coming from folks who suffer inferiority complex and have to put others down to feel any important. Quit that behavior!
Engage the President on his performance. It is not his ethnicity that is driving any perceived ineptitude on his part. Meanwhile, you may likely be supporting Akufo-Addo who is relying on the intellectual prowess of Dr. Bawumia, someone of the same ethnicity as the President, for attracting votes to make him the next President. If you approve of Dr. Bawumia, and do not dislike him for his ethnicity, would you not be displaying sheer hypocrisy?

Everyone with a problem should be able to come up with at least one solution to the problem. No solution as an answer is not acceptable.
Countries train their doctors differently and award different degrees. It is high time we started conferring Doctor of Medicine degrees to MBChB students who have performed the necessary research projects as some countries do.
The current practice where newly inducted doctors called house officers with no experience whatsoever are left to experiment with (attend to) serious medical cases while residents, specialists and consultants are away must be put to a stop immediately. There must be at least one specialist present 24 hours in three shift rotations to supervise them. Our health system as it is presently is not the best. The situation in the countryside and rural communities is even worse.
Do not doubt the wisdom in these words.

The president's non-committal statement on curbing corruption must be taken with a pinch of salt. Corruption is a national disaster that threatens our nation's sovereignty.
Not oblivious of the devastation and despondency corruption is wreaking on ghanaian lives the President told his itchy-eared, anxiety ravaged ghanaian crowd what they wanted to hear.
The introduction of technology to curb corruption is a smart move but it's in itself insufficient to put the brakes on corruption or bring it under control. There ought to be enough deterrent against corruption to prevent the devastation a spill over effect will cause the nation. Those suspected of corruption must be interdicted and severely punished if they're convicted on corruption charges.Maybe I'm wrong but the President's solution to fighting corruption sounds like he's granting amnesty, unconditional pardon for all those whose corrupt practices have brought this nation, endowed with so much natural wealth on its knees. President Mahama did not clear the air but he has rather muddied already troubled waters.

Ghanaians want to see results of whatever plans the President claims to have solutions to these problems. Plans stuck in the Pipelines don't mean anything to the People. Those Plans are not producing any changes for the better.
If the Plans could be the best that any Government could ever come up with but remain only on paper without full implementation, what benefit does the Country get from them?
What people keep seeing is an unrelenting spate of Corruption in more Institutions. We do not see any legal process swiftly ensuing to stem the tide of Corruption.
The fact that we are no more in the Revolutionary days and stringent discipline is why many of the Politicians have dared the System and continue to perpetuate their massive Corruption upon the Nation.
The culprits know our Judicial System and the Law Enforcement do not have the bite that the Revolutionary days had to deter them, or subject them to brisk, rigorous examination and possible conviction of their crimes.
How long do we have to wait to see the Legal System is working to curtail Corruption? A couple of months, days, hours before the President's term limit expires? He would have already been in the books as having failed us. Period! Justice delayed is Justice denied, the sages say.
