Talking about Banks officials, there is collusion between them and accounts clerks of the various departments. There is recently a case whereby newly recruited teachers from the Offinso Districts insisted that teachers open bank accounts with a certain rural bank although the teachers have their own bank accounts. Once you open the account, the accountant working on the IPPD waited for over a year to send documents to Accra; not even the district director of education could convince this account to process . salaries. People who went to see him personally suddenly have their turn to do the biometric, then the salary. There is clearly a fishy deals between the rural bank, and the Human resource dept and accountant many of whom have now built huge houses in and around Offinso and Kumasi. The day these deals will be uncovered will blow the minds of Ghanaians.

our politicians are the major cause of all these woes.they have found direct and indirect ways of enriching themselvesby taking all allowances. free accomodation, free vehicles plus free fueldespite all the fat salaries. even the advaced countries do not do that. after 4 years service they shower themselves with exgratia. this should stop. so what do you expect from the poor farmer? the poor salaried worker? and the rest. if these politicians do not stop looting from the country corruption will never stop because some people feel cheated.May God have mercy upon his people.

Whether Mahama is doing something about corruption or not, it is the perception of Ghanaians that he is complicit in the crimes against the state of woyome,isofoton, waterville, Rlg Zoomlion, merchant bank, subah, gyeeda, NSS, etc, that is worrying. The fact that those found culpable and instead of being punished are rather promoted or removed from one post and given another (Betty Mould, Barton Oduro and lately Ankrah) does not bode well for a president who wants to be seen as one who enforces the law of the land.
