Strange things happen in Ghana every minute. How could a Mayor at his own discretion asks employees of the municipality to undergo a military style training without the knowledge of the Council members. In Ghana every person who by the grace of God gets a small "post" thinks he/she owns the country. If the Mayor wants the guards to have military training the City Council should bear all the costs . Or the guards should sue the City for redress.

training, retraining and refreshing has always been good for the individual even when there is deviation in programme but the motive behind, as in this case where even the Assembly is not in the known, turns to be more than serious. Could these behind the curtains trained officers not one night be mobilised and used for some action, with some dirty promise, for action outside their main duties. It looks Kwadwo is trying to build an army for himself, track record, at the expense of the Assembly. Explain why solo action.
