Otumfuo, Nana Asantehene, you seem to have forgotten the Bompata chieftaincy dispute case. As a result of this inaction on the part of your Asanteman Council, the town has been left without a queen mother for several years now, while the current chief who resides in Accra hardly visits the town.
No wonder there is no development whatsoever going on in this town. Without vision, the people really perish, especially the youth of this town. Is this what the Asanteman Council wishes for the same people they are supposed to serve?
It is amazing how we fail to correct injustice in our society as leaders even if our failure to do so is detrimental to the very society we are expected to serve; yet we cry out loud for justice when the matter at hand adversely concerns us.
It is equally amazing to observe that cases brought before the Asanteman Council can drag for over 40 years without any attempt to call for settlement. Such gross inefficiencies definitely call for urgent need to reform the way the Asanteman Council operates.
In the name of all the Asantehenes Otumfuo Nana: Twum; Antwi, Kobia Amamfi, Oti Akenten, Obiri Yeboa, Osei Tutu Opemsoo, Opoku Ware Katakyie, Kusi Obuadum, Osei Kwadwo Okoawia, Osei Kwame Panyin, Opoku Fofie, Osei Tutu Kwame Asiba, Osei Yaw Akoto, Kwaku Dua I, Kofi Karikari, Mensa Bonsu, Kwaku Dua II, Prempeh I, Osei Tutu Agyeman Prempeh II, Opoku Ware II; who have ruled the Asante kingdom before your turn, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, please help and bring this case to a peaceful closure!

Have the Kingmakers and the town folks complained? The installation was done after the ban on noise making was lifted with drumming and hooting at Odwira. They ignored the Okyenhene because they know he wanted someone else installed! Osagyefo should stop meddling in the nomination, selection and installation as well as destoolment of chiefs otherwise he will know no peace. And the stooges such Daasebre Boamah Darko, Adontenhene and Kukrantumihene of Akyem Abuakwa and his likes stop being sycophants and better advise Osagyefo to stop his arbitrariness, uncustomary conduct and mischief in the handling of Akyem Abuakwa before avoidable disgrace befalls himself and Okyeman. Shame on Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin!!!!!!!!!!

I was reliably informed by a source at Ofori Panin Fie-Kyebi, and this information has been confirmed by no mean a chief close to the Okyenhene to the effect that Daasebre Boamah Darko, Adontenhene and Kukrantumihene of Akyem Abuakwa, did not issue any such statement. Rather some mushroom journalist following the Okyenhene prepared the statement and issued it in the Daasebre's name. This was after the cancellation of the trip to Apapam by a delegation of chiefs chosen to offer formal protest following an Emergency Traditional Council meeting. The trip was cancelled because the Police protection the Osagyefo tried to arrange with numerous but unanswered telephone calls did materialize. Cowards who can only carry out their mischief with police cover!! The Police command apparent snubbed the Osagyefo because they knew what he was up to. Daasebre Darko must be his own man with balls and tell the world he did issue the statement attributed to him otherwise we Adontenman will demand an explanation of his cowardice in due course!!
I hear Asamankese has also ignored Osagyefo and gone ahead with the installation of a new Asamankesehene and the Osagyefo is confused big time!!my source at Ofori Panin Fie just called to tell me. Eih Osagyefo! Do you realise you are loosing control in Okyeman because of your "greedy chop-chop"? Retract and make amends starting with Anwenare, Kwabeng, Kade, Asiakwa, Apapam, Apedwa, Nkwantanan etc else you will have to runaway one day to save your skin or better still commit suicide quietly to preempt disgrace. Don't be surprise of a revolt against your rule very very soon! You can't even account for stool regalia and you won't shut up to solicit some sympathy. Galamsey king!!!

So the Akyems also have a sacred day when drumming is prohibited? So what's the heck about the Gas banning drumming during setting periods prior to homowo festival? Oh Ghana, when would citizens respect authority and order?.

Okyehene is an autocratic, selfish, callous and greedy person who hates new developments in Okyeman. It is obvious that he hates this gentleman,Opoku Acheampong becoming chief of Apapam because he feels threatened by his intelligence, achievements and handsomeness.Secondly,he wants to choose someone he can manipulate in order to continue selling all Apapam land and deprive the people of their natural resources. What did he achieve in US before coming to be installed as Okyehene? Has he forgotten the day of his installation he was carried by Kyebi Zongo men because his own people did not like him? What has he achieved 0r done for Okyeman or Kyebiman in his fifteen years on the stool?Kyebi market is an eyesore and the entire township is in decline. He does not live at Kyebi so he does not care what goes on in the township.
Okyehene must leave Apapam people alone to choose their own chief. They need some one with a vision and one who is dynamic to help them solve the problem of lack of good public communication system, high rate of teenage pregnancy, unemployment,to mention a few.Okyehene is not a kingmaker so he should back off.He should refrain from accepting big bribes from individuals and choosing wrong people as his chiefs.Sooner or later all his secret deals with Apedwa hene and others will come out and he will commit suicide or leave his stool behind and run away out of disgrace.

How could the installation of Apapam chief be unlawful when Nana Opoku Acheampong was "lifted" by the Apapam people after 6pm on Tuesday the 7th October 2014? According to Okyeman tradition the Ohum normally ends at 6pm whereby the band is lifted and people can scream, beat drums and make whatever noise they like. Nana Opoku's installation as Apapam chief was long overdue. It should have taken place in August 2013,following the burial and last funeral rites of the previous chief. Okyehene and his"gangs" including Apedwahene started playing some "waiting games" so they would continue selling the Apapam lands and deal in their Galamsey business. Apedwahene has been dethroned by his subjects but he is still maintaining his chieftancy at Apedwa because he is a close friend of Okyehene. They are against Nana Opoku's installation as Apapam chief because they are jealous of his achievements and personality.SHAME UNTO THEM ALL AND TO THOSE WEALTHY INDIVIDUALS WHO KEEP BRIBING AND CORRUPTING THEM FOR GOLD AND LANDS.What Okyehene and his greedy gang of chiefs should realise is,if their ancestors or predecesors had sold all the lands they inherited what would have been left for them to enjoy? WAKE UP AMOATIA AND HELP DEVELOP OKYEMAN.OKYEMAN HAS HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR ARROGANCE, GREEDINESS AND LACK OF VISION. ALLOW US TO CHOOSE OUR OWN CHIEFS.

Iam from Apapam and 98% of Apapam people supported and accepted Nana Opoku from the very first day he stepped his feet on Apapam to be introduced as our future chief. His opponent,Nana Yaw happens to be the son of the queen of Apapam(recently deceased). According to Okyeman tradition, the son of a queen could not be installed as chief while the mother remains a queen. Secondly, any one with a deformity or handicap could not be installed as a chief. This guy is apparently deaf and semi-literate. He is a Galamsey boy. Okyehene assured us that he would accept someone who is educated, dynamic, loyal and a true royal so why all these "libilibi labalaba" games he is playing at? This Galamsey boy can never be our chief.God forbid! Okyehene should find this guy a job in his Accra mansion and refund the bribes he has taken from those wealthy sponsors who have been pumping in funds for this guy to be secretly installed as Apapam chief. The only reason is so they can manipulate him and sell all the lands of Apapam. WATCH OUT AMOATIA, YOUR CUP IS NEARLY FULL AND YOU ARE HEADING TO HELL. As an akan will say,"wapem" so give in and accept Nana Opoku as apapam chief.
