If I may ask, is that another communist ideological institution? Young Pioneers implanted by Nkrumah in our society did not contribute to any meaningful development for 30years until the country started to breath again from 2000.
Our experience with the neo-communists is that, they seize power criminally by making coups and counter coups and Ghanaians suffer dictatorship, tyranny, corruption and economic mismanagement under them. NDC therefore, can not improve the economy because their fundamentals are wrong.
Under normal circumstances, political parties are formed to produce leaders democratically. But in the case of NDC, a Cuban-style communist dictator produced a party to legitimize his illegitimate regime wrongfully, with state power and resources to enable him cling to power fraudulently. NDC is therefore an artificial, illegitimate party followed by stomach politicians and sycophants.

Your Finance Minister also promised to reduce the wage bill and nothing has happened. Why can you tell Ghanaians what you and your government have done or are doing instead of always "we will"?
Mr President, time is running out for you. The IMF bailout will not improve the life of Ghanaians in the short term but rather worsen it. If anything, the benefits would be in the medium term (3 to 5 years later). Enough is enough so act now or never, otherwise, your government will crash down into pieces come 7 December 2016.

The IMF should not release any funds to go with the bailout programme, none. The only condition that should go with any fund release is, for every looted $1000 dollars by the Mahama NDC gov't that is retrieved, they should release $1dollar.
It is going to be a win-win situation for the IMF, for the country and for the citizenry either than that, the funds would be looted with impunity. Looting has become a policy under the NDC gov't called create, loot and share, and it's a policy with the most robustness in the Mahama NDC gov't.

Mr.President a statement well said. There is too much waste in the system presently for any meaningful project or good intentions to get successful. The waste comes in the form of corruption, mismanagement and thievery. All Ghanaians local or abroad love Ghana very much that's why we contribute on ways to get the country moving forward. Ghana has a lot of resources(human, minerals etc) to underachieve. We just spend what we have or receive as revenue instead of using some to develop so in the long run , we are at a standstill. There is no economic growth. Any good intentions are swallowed by the detrimental factors known as 'waste'. We have to stamp out corruption and improve the level of management to be able to move the cuntry forward. Any good inuts in face of these vices, will amount to nothing including this IMF bailout program.Fellow Ghanaians we are better than this.

I am prepare to vote for IMF if they are the ones to take decision for Ghana . What a waste of space! You talk about IMF bailout. It seems the president does not understand what is going on. IMF cannot make Ghana better. They are coming with conditions that will even deprive people their dignity. The most annoying aspect is that in the developed world where people can find jobs easily, some citizens don't work and live on benefits. IMF comes to developing countries where unemployment is so alarming or workers are paid meagre salaries and tell their governments to lay off workers or reduce wages or the worse increase utility bills. I don't think the president is serious when keeps saying the IMF bailout will make life better for ghanains. be serious for once MR president.

Mr President, it is very important that in addressing this situation you don't shy away from using the right words to describe attitudes and conducts. "Stealing" and "corruption" described only as "waste in the system" even reduces the terribly negative impact on the struggling poor and the nation as a whole. I wonder why the President won't feel comfortable using the right words. When we a serious problem on our hands he decides to refer to it as a challenge thereby reducing the sense of serious and urgency needed. Please, there is no better way to describe stealing and corruption than "stealing and corruption".

Mr. Prez, thanks for this observation about the waste in the system. But please consider these issuee also. 1. The retired Ambassadors, government officials whose appointments are renewed and being renewed all the time is a great drain on the economy. 2. Government must also consider employing Ghanaians in the diaspora as secretaries at the embassies/missions to cut down on unnecessary allowances and high rent payments.
3.Another area of concern is the provision of free cars and accommodation to government officials. This is totally unacceptably. These issues must be treated as an ECONOMIC EBOLA. The there should be staff reduction at the Presidency. Thank you.
