I believe the proposals put forward by IEA are the best possible ways of strengthening our democracy. Anybody criticizing or unwilling to accept them must have some myopic and self-serving agendas that are not in the interest of Ghana and its development. Our week institutions can easily produce "constitutional dictatorship" difficult to eliminate.

Those who have genuine alternative ideas and views regarding the issues raised should come out clean and tell us what they have, and not hide behind to sabotage them. These proposals in our view would reduce partisanship and strengthen democracy and the rule of law in our country. On the other hand, if we dare reject them, we will continue to grope in darkness with disastrous outcome.

When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them

I sincerely believe that Mr. Stephen Amoah has gone too far in his prediction that there would be suicide bombings if Mahama wins the next elections. It is the right of any opposition member to point out the failings and excess of the government in power, and use them to convince electorates not to vote for the incumbent in the next elections.

This is genuine politics and your constitutional right, but you cannot say that there would be suicide bombings if Ghanaians ignore your warnings and still vote for him despite the hunger and the hardship they are experiencing under his government. The next thing Mr. Stephen needs to do, if he believes the incumbent could wrongfully use his position to influence the outcome of the elections, is to make sure that the elections are free and fair. And that is why the IEA constitutional reform proposals are very important.

Why do you spurn that and go and follow those utilities provider? This crazy price surge every 3 months is like a bullet that hits people. Government has duty to control threats to livelihood and that involves cost control for all. There will not be a need for government if all you're going to do is stand and watch whilst the people's little money fly into the bursary of VRA every three months. Don't we understand what politics means? Politicians must be seen to be doing his basic generic work. Sitting there and allow resources to be flowing to one area is a recipe for unrest
