In this case, those village npp toilet cleaners without valid reasons to be in the USA needed to be taught some lessons on how to co-exist and to learn from others.

The Embassy didn't need to write this rejoinder because any intelligent person who read the article would see that the tribalistic NPP was behind the publication or the paltry demonstration. While such demonstrations are not uncommon to Presidents, when its organization is based on tribalistic prejudices, it must be rejected by all well-meaning Ghanaians. I am an Ashanti but I reject, I totally reject tribal-based politics. It's high time we moved away from "mate meho" attitudes and make NPP a progressive but not divisive opposition party.

The latest media ethics monitoring report by the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) shows that indecency in language is the most prevalent ethical violation among the Ghanaian media.

The report reveals that out of a total of 508 ethical violations recorded from May to August 2014, violations against the principle of decency recorded as much as 201, representing 40 per cent of all the ethical violations recorded so far.

The report further shows that news websites committed the most ethical violations with Ghanaweb.com being the worst culprit, a statement issued by MFWA and Copied to the GNA said on Friday.

How good are the people of Ghana when every day in the news you hear stories about ghost names on payrolls, allegations upon allegations of corruption among government and state-owned enterprises' officials, not to mention the sins of the clergy. There is rot and absolute decay everywhere in society - there is no trust in the country that claims to be a christian country.

In my view, there are no good people of Ghana - we are witnessing a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah in the making and we all know how these diabolical cities ended up.
