  Let me remind all the NPP members the argument Nana Akufo-Addo made at the party’s Congress in Sunyani in 1998 in his opposition to giving candidate John Agyekum Kufuor the second chance after losing to Rawlings in 1996. Here was Nana Akufo: “I call on members of the party [NPP] to embrace change in leadership of the party. Such changes are far from harming the fortunes of the party. Change improves the chances of political parties as a new face eventually means new ideas, new methods and new strategies…any candidate elected as the NPP's flag-bearer has already secured 30% of the total valid votes. Failure to garner the remaining 20% plus 1 means the candidate has failed, and therefore must be changed” (ref: Ghana Daily Graphic, October 8, 1998). If John Kufuor back then did not deserve to be nominated for the second consecutive time, why is it okay now for Nana Akufo-Addo to seek the party’s nomination the third consecutive time, having led NPP to two painful electoral defeats in 2008 and 2012? Well, it seems like Nana Akufo-Addo is getting ready to take NPP to the electoral slaughterhouse in 2016 all over again. Let the self-denials ignore the warnings

By the way you might consider submitting yours and that of that of your preferred candidate first and maybe go a step further by also taking an aids test since it is on record that you have the propensity to unzip your pants and engage in unprotected sex.

  Who knows who will go first? Supposing Anane tries to hurry Akuffo Addo on by poisoning his drink at a party, and, somehow, the poisoned glass gets swapped with Anane's own glass! Will the medical records he is dreaming to lay his hands on be of any benefit to him?
  I thought that, by law, someone's medical records can only be requested to prove an event, but not in case something happens. Anane must confer with his lawyers before disgracing himself with this childish idea.
  If this is the only answer Anane can proffer, then one would suspect there could be some truth in Ken Agyepong's allegations. Anane can go to hell first before thinking evil about Akuffo Addo. It is all too clear that Akuffo Addo will win the 18th October ballot. So why would a seasoned politician be so foolish to do what Anane is trying to do? Lost cause!

  hmmm..from most of the comments ive read on this,seems no one really gets anane's point. he says he want their medical records so should any of them die(which he will eventually mastermind though without bloodshed), then we'll know it was from natural causes.anane in this sense is not a loser,he is a skillfull assassin.

  Dr Anane you have said in your statement above that as a Doctor you were trained to save lives not to kill,but what do you tink you are doing now.Sometimes people who come from the parents of affluence are pushed to higher universities to persue courses of their choices ,eg, a Lawyer or a medical Doctor only to become public redicle of themselves.Your argument wishing Nana Akuffo Addo to present a medical report from a medical practitioner both home and abroad is not necessary, since he, Nana Akuffo Addo has not accused you and Mr Mpiani for planning to kill him by poisoning but If I were you, the most prudent action I will take is to dragg Mr Agyepong to court for proof of his allegation to exornerate you and your political comple from this hedious crime.Your present situation makes some of us to believe that you are doing everything possible to kick Nana out of this process to pave way for Allan Kyeremateng to come and lead the NPP to victory since you know perfectly well that,Nana has already made the groud fertile for the NPP to win the next coming general elections in 2016.My wise advice I have for you is that, all the people in the NPP who want the NPP to win in this crucial election should rally behind Nana to calibrate the party to Victory.
