Their Transport arrangement was bad. how can professional footballers going to play in the number one football tournament in the world sit in Economy class. Appiah didnt say anything. And finally they to sleep in a hotel not accredited by FIFA and had no security. what they were saying is their lives are worth nothing.Of course am not saying they are better than others who sleep in that hotel but looking at the amount of money going round as been chopped by the GFA then i think they should have put them in a FIFA accredited Hotel. With all this, i haven't that the coach expressed any dissatisfaction becos he was protecting his job by being in their pocket and keeping quite. So I think the foreign players especially realised he is a "useless" coach.

I believe if you tell Kwesi Nyantekyi to write a contract for the players he will not refuse. In Europe and elsewhere, everyone has a contract. I have all the time been saying that if one wants to know the worth of coach Akwasi Appiah, then, one should look at Ghana vs. Germany match. If it were not the deceptions of the authorities concerning the players' appearance fees which brought their morales down, and the players were psychologically sound, we could not have experienced that bitter exit. The most painful part of the whole thing is, Akwasi Appiah has been blamed and shown the exit for something caused by Nyantakyi and his cohorts. Nyantakyi has the gut to kick Akwasi Appiah out for something he himself caused. God willing, Nyantakyi will surely pay for this. Mark my words!

If Mr Omanba is a good soccer kenner,he must know that it was the Ghana vrs Germany game, that showed how weak a coach AA was at the mundial.That game was our first three points and AA dropped them for one,after losing to the weakest team in our group.No soccer kenner will praise this as an achievement.Jörgi Löw was the trainer of that match ´cos he was able to settle his team for the much needed point when they were almost beaten.

Which trainer will bench a fit Essien of AC Milan and a fit KPB of Schalke, when the other team is changing in an old player like Klöse, who´s sitting on the bench in Rome, and an injured Schweinsteiger,also sitting on the bench in München,b´cos he did not have any better alternative but to bring them in.Whiles these 4 players are in the same leagues with our boys in two upper class teams compared to the Germans.

For me the right time that the appearance fee is to be paid is after the first round. Why should appearance fee be paid in the Netherlands and not Brazil !!!

Just admit your inability and fighting secretly for yourself and stop throwing dust into peoples eyes.

If you think that you are a very good Coach, go and prove it. There are a lot of teams in this world that you can handle. Just prove Ghanaians wrong. Stop blowing empty air.

At the time we played the first match against the Americans, money was not an issue but we lost because he was waiting for the American to be tired before introducing fresh and experienced limbs. Such a useless coach!!!.
He lost the dressing room from day one but he will not admit that. We must be bold to admit when we have failed and learn lessons out of that instead of blaming all others but our selves.

If it had to do with egos of the players as a few are parochially alluding to, Ghana would not have qualified for the World cup. We went with rotten gov't and GFA officials who could not manage the players and Akwasi is bearing the blunt. It's really sad! Even coaches like Fergie, Wenger, Lippi, Trapatoni etc have had their teams going down at some point and usually, their teams have kept them and reap greater benefits later. We don't judge well so we get trailed after petty feelings, etc. God save GH!

As reported around the time of this fiasco, a FIFA representative stated they (FIFA) were willing to deposit money directly into player accounts AS LONG AS the GFA signed a letter stating this amount could be deducted from the final FIFA payment. GFA did not act on this offer.

One thing I've noticed about the some leaders! When they are part of the team, they say nothing just to protect their positions even if situation on the ground demands a response. Akwesi Appiah could not say anything to the authorities when they incessantly broke all the payment promises to the boys. In the heat of the moment, Akwesi Appiah should have pointed out to the authorities that, failing to keep their promises could have a dire consequence on the Stars' progression in the competition. Leaders are supposed to be straightforward and pointblank. Unfortunately, most people like Akwesi Appiah would rather condone wrongs instead of confronting them just to maintain their stead in the group. It's sad. Now that Akwesi Appiah is no longer part of the Stars, listen to the sense he's making on this Ghana-world-cup-early-exit brouhaha. The truth is absolute and stands the test of time, so if you know you're telling the truth, go ahead and say it without fear or favor. The truth shall always set you free.

Governments are not to appoint executives to the Football Governing Body directly but note that the GFA is under the umbrella of the Sports Ministry which the President appoints the Minister. That tells you that GFA is not complete autonomy.

In the course of WC tournaments, FIFA pays or give tournament's remuneration to each of the participating countries. Again do you want such money to be given to the Government freely at the expense of the players who are shedding their sweats for nothing? I think your pen-name (watever) depicts your nature. E&OE.
