Just around the time they handed over to the NDC the wind started blowing in everybody's face. World economy tumbled 50%. 8 distractive months in court did not help matters. Enough of grand standing.

Some Ghanaians are idiots who can't reason for themselves. Kwame, who said "Dr. Osei Akoto has no solution" is one of the fools in the country. Why IS the NPP itching to unseat the NDC if it has no solution?

If we have people like Kwame in Ghana supporting NDC, how will it be possible to stop them from following the wind? My wife calls such people as "OBEY the WIND".

A self-styled "OBSERVER" also described Dr. Osei Akoto's statement as "JUST POLITICAL TALK" AND THAT Kufuor administration had it very easy.

He has forgotten that the kUFUOR administration instituted well defined economic measures which appealed to some Ghana's external debtors to wipe off the debts. Those debts were part of Rawlings' creation.

Since the advent of the Mills/Mahama administration, what economic measures has either introduced that has attracted any of the country's debtors to voluntarily come to its aid?

Due to very good economic measures by Kufuor Administration, the GHcedi was one to one U.S. dollar. What is it today? It's running like chicken
without head.

Ghana's economy problems are structural in nature, and these are traceable to policies that were implemented since we gained independence. Our manufacturing base is prehistoric, export sector is practically one sided, no diversification at all, and more importantly, Ghanaians are so used to foreign brands of consumer items that it will take a thousand years to wean them off that habit...unless all sectors of the economy click on the same cylinder, the economy will continue to suffer bouts of depression and stagnation

Well said! I especially agree with the comment that Ghanaians are used to foreign brands. I will take statement a step further - Ghanaians prefer foreign goods over some of our good quality local items.
