This is not true because Many NPP members want to dispel the belief that NPP is Akanfo Party. If this is true, then it tells that Addo is a smart politician. That is why he prematurely announced his running mate.

What at all is it that some people see in this Kyeremateng guy? He is not eloquent, he cannot speak with any measure of meaningful domestic or international political substance and he seems to be physically and emotionally distant from the grass-roots of their Party. For me as a non-NPP observer, he does not bear the necessary ingredients that can enable him to manage the affairs of this country if he were to be President of Ghana. We have had enough clowns who were voted on the basis that they looked good, to run this country and the result is the misery that we are now confronted with.

He is not even fit to be a running mate to Akuffo-Addo. Can Kyeremateng compare himself to the political stature and professional pedigree of Bawumia? Of course not!

Kyeremateng is not even fit to be a Minister in any future govt because when he was given the opportunity in Kufuors govt, he failed miserably after several chances in various capacities to achieve anything substantial for the country.

In fact he has failed to achieve anything significant for himself, his party and his country, so what is all this fuss about Kyeremateng?

If he Kyeremateng was really and truly smart, he would give up the contest with Akuffo-Addo because there is no way he can match the overwhelming political stature of Akuffo-Addo. He should then take a few steps backwards and start all over again with a clearer mind.

Kyerematengs stubborn insistence to press ahead and compete against Akuffo-Addo in spite of all indications that he will lose emphatically at great financial and moral cost to the Party, will only confirm to one and all and to himself that his party is not on his side and this can cost him future considerations to stand as flag-bearer - that is, even if he qualifies. It seems he is listening and responding only to his aides who clearly, are bent on milking him to his last pesewa.

He must also understand that the propaganda gimmicks by the NDC in encouraging him to his doom, will only lead him astray and will not serve his interests well at the end of the day.

1. Insult and disgrace Prez. Kufuor, who supported throughout his 2008 and 2012 elections only to come out, stupidly and belatedly in 2014, that Prez. Kufuor has always supported him!
2. Insult and bring into disrepute the good name of His Majesty The Asantehene, who since late 2007, had given a fully furnished House with meals, water, electricity, and all the freebies, to Akufo Addo for his use during his stay any time in Kumasi. With his knowledge, and connivance, his supporters even accused The Otumfuor of sending bribe money to Supreme Court Judges!!!! Has he ever publicly come out to speak on these matters?
