The mandate of the account cannot be the mother. Who opened the salary account? Is it Khamil or the mother? Or the account is a joint account? The mother can not be a signatory to Khail salary account. The Finder uncovered that Mr Khamil’s parents are both employees of GES. The mother, a former District Chief Executive (DCE) under President John Agyekum Kufuor, is a signatory to Khamil’s account.

I also believe that the parents might be NDC sympathisers that is why the headmaster said it is beyond his control and so bringing Kuffour's name in this is ridiculous. This guy has been paid for three years but Kuffour has been out of office for almost six years. It is a matter of NDC creating loot and share and blaming it on Kuffour or is it another form of Woyomisation? There are several ghost workers in all departments and like this one nobody will be punished if NDC is involved. Ghanaians must rise against these criminal NDC gangs or be doomed.

While it is good idea to help the poor in society, it is also necessary to be fair to everyone in the society. At the moment it seems this free education for the northerners is being abused. Some of these beneficiaries have already graduated from the system with degrees like Betty Iddrisu, the former Attorney-General and President Mahama. They are well off than most parents from the south yet their children continue to receive all time free education. In effect, northerners with qualifications above degree level should also be pay for their children like the southerners to prevent abuse and also trim the education bill.
Besides there has to be quotas at what disciplines they can pursue free education at university level. The country needs more manpower in Science and Technology than Arts. I should think 80% allocation should be for Science and Technology courses and 20% for all other disciplines should be the proper allocation for national development and fairness.
There have instances where some of these beneficiaries are no longer in education, but still continue to draw allowances from this free education system. There must be a stop to this exploitation. Moreover wealthy northerners who own houses, commercial transport and businesses should also be able to pay for their children’s education.
Beneficaries must fill eligibility form to qualify the free education and if anyone is found to have made false declaration, must be required to pay back.
The poor must be helped but we need to prevent abuse and unfairness.

For sure with all the rot in Ghana,Mahama thinks the answer lies in obtaining help from IMF.
Mahama even if you receive 100 billion from the IMF, Ghana will still be poor in just seven years with your rule. You are not a good manager. The former sports minister will be in prison by now if he has been a minister in UK.
Ghana has gold,cocoa,oil and many more rich resources and yet because of poor management you have to resort to the IMF for bailout.
My advise to our people is that at best Mahama should step down for not being able to live up to any of his promises before the election.

The Ministry of Education should task respective head teachers of all schools to submit a comprehensive list of all teachers under its jurisdiction. Headteachers are supposed to guarantee, and failing to do so will be responsible for grand theft. When people are made to pay, others will sit up! This is a pervasive attitude even in our Ministries. I think its time to get someone to head such investigations. Ghana is hemorrhaging too much money!
