This boys should spare us their partisan stands. What do they know? What demonstration are they embarking?. Who is it going to affect?. Even the labor nationwide demonstration did not have any effect let alone a dependent non performing group whose school fees is born by we the tax payers. Somebody should tell them that, we are tired of arrogant postures being exhibited by toddlers..

NUGS as an organisation is not limited by its laid rules to embark on demonstration in the national interest and in the interest of its stakeholders.
The same system was used by Tsatsu Tsikata, Totobi Kwakye and co against Kutu Acheampong's UNIGOV so why ban the patriotic NUGS now?

This is a real JSS NUGS. When has NUGS ever gotten court approval to go on demonstrations. This sounds silly. Nowhere in the world has any courts stopped demonstration because of a stupid court order. I was part of the demonstrations that topped Acheampong and Akuffo (demonstrations that Jerry Rawlings later took credit for). I faced tear gas, battons, AK 47s with live bullets. Grow up, boys. Make your voice heard without any court decisions. That is no democracy. If NUGS (and not the courts) believes that the demo is unconstitutional, members will boycott, anyway. That one reason you don't need a court.

A secretary of a bloc under NUGS took the case ti court and not the court jumping in to stop the demo.
Remove that partizan thinking cup and think straight for once. Grow up!

Which court? NUGS leadership must show real proactive leadership responsibility to do what is just right for the struggling students and youth to demand for the better as NUGS do not need any court of law to tell them what is their constitutional right.
Do not allow any political groupings to silence your national agenda. It's a social struggle for social transformation and social struggle for change are not won in the court rooms.
Leadership is about challenging the existing authority for change and that's what the people of Ghana expect from the youth under the NUGS leadership.
Let's see you exhibiting the legacy of the progressively fearless NUGS of the 70s and 80s.

The present crop of student leadership is a far cry the 80's 90's and the early 2000's.Politicians have physically infiltrated student fronts making present student politics a non-effect.Gone were the days when politicians do everything in secret to bribe student leadership.Presently it is easy to know who belongs to which party and so student elections/leadership are even determined just like National elections. Most students are also not proactive.Students on campus today are not different from those in the secondary schools. How then can student leadership argue with a vice chancellor on behalf of students? The present situation is a reflection of who belongs to which party and there is not happy another party is going to demonstrate against the government. The judge only applied the rules and nothing else.Blame the student/political leaders

I STAND CORRECTED. I AM YET TO READ ANYWHERE WHERE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ALWAYS AGITATE ON POLITICAL ISSUES THAN GHANA. DO NOT GET ME WRONG, I ATTENDED AND LIVES IN ONE OF THE MOST ADVANCED COUNTRIES AND NEVER ONCE READ OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS DEMONSTRATING COUNTRYWIDE FOR THEIR GRIEVANCES. ARE THE STUDENTS IN GHANA THERE TO DO POLITICS OR TO STUDY. DO OUR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TAKE PART IN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS TO JUDGE WHERE THEY STAND ACADEMICALLY? PLEASE, SOLVE YOUR GRIEVANCES PEACEFULLY WITH WHOEVER AT THE TABLE. YOU WILL GO FURTHER WITH THE RESULTS THAN ALWAYS WASTING YOUR TIME FOR USELESS DEMONSTRATION. IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO AGITATE BUT AT THE EXPENSE OF YOUR STUDIES?
