Agyarko must behave as an educated person and rise up from his immaturity like his cohorts. It's no wonder that the history of NLM/UP is enshrined in current behaviour of NPP. From 1951 till 6 March 1957, NLM/UP never accepted any elections results. In that period, Dr Nkrumah tolerated more than 5 elections because his opposition cried foul when they were defeated. When it was not possible anymore, Dr Busia and Dr Danquah petitioned the Queen to suspend Ghana's independence because they were not in power. It's no wonder Agyarko is pointing fingers. Would it had matter if Atuguba had spent 24 hours to deliver verdict? NPP's reasons of going to SC was dead immediately Nana Addo gave a press conference after submission of their petition. Everyone knows Nana Addo went to court to enable him get his grip on the party which he succeeded. But majority of neutral people know Nana Addo had a weak case. NPP must grow up and stop this balderdash and also stop wasting our ears.

YOUR QUOTE: “Why can’t Africa get to the place where it can champion its own destiny if you think of the continent being the wealthiest in the world…”
GOD Almighty bestowed brains upon every human being but some fail to apply them and in return, see every other person who uses and applies them as god!..........................
The reason is very simple indeed!....
Unfortunately, our understanding of ‘Education’ is all about perfecting other peoples ‘powerful tools’ (language) based on collecting knowledge without the basic understanding of its origins and values.
It is basically all about aping other humans’ lifestyle, totally contrary to our cultural heritage and good traditional beliefs.
Our so-called ‘Education’ system is deeply-rooted in the concept of reading books (in someone else’s languages and of their experiences totally alien to ours), memorizing them again, again and again, regurgitating them out of the ‘memory box’ (that is, if one has one) unto exam papers, get so-called good grades and eventually attain a degree/masters and forget everything after the process.
Another sequence for this kind of education system is called – ‘chew’, ‘pour’, ‘pass’ and ‘forget’ – which gives no room for any form of analytical thinking that stimulates the COMMON SENSE (the gift from GOD), bestowed upon every human being to achieve GREATNESS!
Instead, we have embarked on a educating ourselves in suppressive languages that has bred inferiority complex towards the colonialists and other races?
These other races I'm referring to, became who they are today, by the use of THEIR OWN ‘lingos’, correcting THEIR OWN mistakes and experiences within the confines of THEIR OWN environments, for the GOOD of THEIR OWN nations.
Apart from embarking on such MIS-EDUCATION,......Africa in the past, had championed its own destiny till we allowed ourselves to be deceived and be sold out by 'some' our own.
I refer to those selfish, CORRUPT and greedy Africans as AFROPEANS. They existed then and they exist now.
They collaborated with our oppressors and sold their own into slavery and have now mastered the art of selling OUR rich natural resources on the cheap to THEIR masters........Yes! That is also part of the bane of us, progressing as a people.
I would honestly like to seek answers to the following:
What were Africans educating themselves in, in the past before embarking on the English or the French languages?
Which African language did all the scholars from all walks of life (from and beyond our continent), who achieved greatness from the first university in the world, located in Timbuktu – Mali were educated in?
Why was there an explosion of African Civilization which stretched from the North and South of the Great Nile River before the English language?
Why don’t we look to our past achievements to shape and secure our future as a continent, just as any other nations have done?
Why the choice of a language IMPOSED on us by the colonialists - who had enslaved us and suppressed the minds of our people?
Why the choice of a language, wholly alien to our African cultural heritage, good traditions and values?
Why not an AFRICAN LANGUAGE to educate ourselves in, to carve up a future and a proud identity for us and OUR unborn generations?
WHY? WHY? WHY?.........Do we offer major infrastructural jobs to the Chinese who speak little or no English at all??(This is a quote from one of our thinkers on this forum). WHY?
ANSWER: The only way Africa can get to the place where it can champion its own destiny is when it learns from its GREAT past, speak a common 'lingo', creating our own, trading amongst itself, value our own rich natural resources on the world market, not allowing the AFROPEANS in our midst sell us short, having strong leaders with vision who do not 'kowtow' to any colonialists/imperialists conning ways, creating our own 'global village' beneficial to us first and not falling for that jargon literally and finally, believing in who we are.....as HUMANS CREATED BY GOD ALMIGHTY!!!!!!!
And please let's not wait for South Koreans to sing in Twi and sell their CDs to us before we appreciate our own 'lingos'...........We have been 'mis-educated for far too long!
Please let's have a sensible dialogue here and not the basic 'crap'! Thank you!
GOD BLESS GHANA!

My plan A is to stop the sale of OUR RICH NATURAL RESOURCES to multi-nationals on the cheap!!!1
And those politicians who agree on such deals should be jailed!
The good monies we reap must be invested into a proper education system which encourages one African lingo! And this should be done with willing African nations with vision!
There will definitely be a resistance from those who want to maintain the status quo but, FORWARD EVER, BACKWARD NEVER! They will resist because of the benefits it will bring unto our continent and the reliance on others will seize....
That is their FEAR!!!! Education is the key! And I mean the proper education I have indicated and asked questions about. I would have appreciated you answered some of the questions but, hey!

So there's this fella with a parrot. And this parrot swears like a sailor - I mean he's a pistol. He can swear for 5 minutes straight without repeating himself. Trouble is, the guy who owns him is a quiet, conservative type, and this bird's fowl mouth is driving him crazy.
One day, it gets to be too much, so the guy grabs the bird by the throat, shakes him really hard, and yells, "QUIT IT!". But this just makes the bird mad and he swears more than ever. Then the guy gets mad and says, "OK for you!" and locks the bird in a kitchen cabinet. This really aggravates the bird and he claws and scratches, and when the guy finally lets him out, the bird cuts loose with a stream of invective that would make a veteran sailor blush.
At that point, the guy is so mad that he throws the bird into the freezer. For the first few seconds there is a terrible din. The bird kicks and claws and thrashes. Then it suddenly gets_very_quiet.
At first the guy just waits, but then he starts to think that the bird may be hurt. After a couple of minutes of silence, he's so worried that he opens up the freezer door. The bird calmly climbs onto the man's out-stretched arm and says, "Awfully sorry about the trouble I gave you. I'll do my best to improve my vocabulary from now on.".
The man is astounded. He can't understand the transformation that has come over the parrot. Then the parrot says, "By the way, pardon me for asking, but what did the chicken do?"
