There we go again. Appiah demands respect from the players and then in return for what! Poor coaching strategies, poor knowledge base and the total absence of presence that are necessary to make people and in this case his players listen! Wow, and then he has the nerve to DEMAND RESPECT. What has being his record since he took over the Black Stars. Such a record of his, will never earn him respect from any thinking person, much less his players. Until he starts winning something big, and I mean big, he will never gain respect. This guy simply does not get it. You EARN RESPECT because of what you have done or can bring to the table. Demand respect, he does not get it, does he! Who was the coach when the Black Stars, for once, could not win a single WC match, it was APPIAH. And the man says he demands respect, really!

His only victory outside Africa maybe Ghana's pre-world cup win over South Korea but this is nothing to cheer about. South Korea is not a good football country, JUST ANOTHER MEDIOCRE OPPONENT.
Ghana's draw against Germany was PURE LUCK. Germany missed many good chances and if that had not been the case, they could have humilated us like they did to Brazil.
One doesn't earn respect by making dumb decisions. Appiah made an irrational decision by underestimating the Americans and resting his best players. He made himself look even dumber when he explained after the match that he rested his best players in hope of bringing them on when the Americans get tired.
Maybe you need the help of a psychiatrist brother. This is NOT HOW TO EARN RESPECT...

The coach should get rid of a majority of the old players and bring in new younger ones who have the desire to win. The old guys think the coach is indebted to them.

The coach should get rid of a majority of the old players and bring in new younger ones who have the desire to win. The old guys think the coach is indebted to them.

Just resign to again the u need for ur own self. If not,then be there and some of us will see our team as a team without a coach just like our country without leaders but people just occupying leadership seat. Fire burn u all.
