Proliferation of churches clearly is not a biblical edict for fruitfulness but rather the content of the teaching of those churches.Unless the Church in Ghana returns to intentional and purposeful biblical teaching and preaching there will no hope to turn around the decay in our society. In addition, the Church MUST embrace reaching out to the totality of a person- spiritual, physical, economical and social. The Church must not leave this to politicians and government alone. The remedy for the health of the society lies squarely within the church!

Tony S, thanks for your comments. We always need good teachers of the word and intercessors. Number of churches helps but we know Quality should always go with Quantity. God bless

Part of the problem also lies with the
Pastors. When some of them sleep with the girls of their congregation, what examples do they set?? They should not preach vice and practice versa. God bless.

Churches should, as a matter of fact, create jobs also as a means of taking care of the physical needs of their congregation, from the tithes, offerings, pledges, etc. that they collect from members. It is high time the Government promulgated a law to thayt effect. this would bring some level of discipline and go to reduce the moral decadence that we are all drumming without anybody dancing. amen!

It has taken us (the church) a long time to talk about this and tackle it.Todays church is deviating from it's Godly responsibilities.Infact just forgetting that they rule the world. The church is rather sitting down and watching some few people calling themselves politicians to rule,so some of the church members and some men of God will go to the extent of stooping very low to politicians because of their stomach.Let us all come together and build our country.

The leadership of the churches in Ghana is the major problem. They need to 'remove the plague in their eyes'' before removing those with the Youth. They keep preaching and practicing of wealth (driving in big flashy cars, big houses etc). How can they preach virtue and practice vice and then put the blame on the youth. How many poor people are appointed by churches into leadership positions in Ghana? In a society, where only the rich and powerful are regarded, and who made it so; is it the leaders or the youth?
