No one is forcing anybody out but it is simply an appeal to those contestants. None of the two should be under the illusion that he can beat Nana in the next contest. The wisest thing to do if only they have the success of the party at heart in 2016 is to save cost for the 2016 war-chest by voluntarily resigning and to put their energies and resources behind the party and Nana for the ultimate contest. Let us remember that laws are made for man and not man for laws. The persons who are being appealed to should know that they have their future credibility and honour in the party at stake since they will, in no distant future, come back to the majority that is appealing to them now to also ask for their trust and votes.
Let the duo listen to their conscience and not follow their supporters who have nothing to loose if they fall out with the majority pleading with them now. Those urging them on now have everything to gain now as long as they choose to remain in the contest. Let them gather now for future rainy days.

I wonder why Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyapong is speaking for the polling station executives. At this stage where each and everyone knows Mr. Alan Kyeremateng can never beat Nana Addo in any NPP election, the wisest thing the party should do is to help the candidate and the party win power. Common sense should tell us that, doing another campaign at the polling stations is a waste of resource. Please Mr. Secretary come again.

Kwabena, learn to shut your mouth when you have nothing to say.
Remember that you are the secretary of the entire party, so do not ever take sides when there is a division of opinion, because at the end of the day, you will have to tow the line of whichever side wins the debate.
I do not think that after voting 100% to support a candidate in the super congress, the grassroots of the branch in (was it) Belgium would be disenfranchised if they do not have the opportunity to vote again. Even if all the constituents in Ho, say, empowered their four representatives to vote for Alan during last Sunday's ballot, they are not going to be disenfranchised if they do not get another chance to vote for Alan.
It is all too clear that when all the 140,000 get the opportunity to cast their votes, Alan can easily improve his share by 500%! Everybody is saying that based on last Sunday's results, another contest on October 18th would be just waste of resources. As General Secretary of the party, you must be seen to be championing such a course to save money for the party, but not giving these lame excuses about the party constitution.
Could you tell us all the reasons for depriving the 140,000 in the grassroots their right to vote in the super congress? If you want to claim that everybody should be given their inalienable right to participate in the decision making of the party, then take out this super congress clause from the constitution.
When the representatives of the people speak, we should all understand the weight of their decision: it represents the wishes of the people.
Kwabena, you must learn very fast. Otherwise, you cannot last in the hot seat. After agreeing to become the secretary of the party, your own preferences should take second seat. That is how democracy works!!
