No law works in mother Ghana, these are down to the incompetent people governing. Day in and day out, all we hear is about drafting new rule and law. If these idiots are there for business and good governance they would be able to enforce the the existing laws for them to work.

Legalize galamsey operation and offer them the necessary training and facilities to protect the environment. I once had an internship with the Consolidated Tin Mines(CTM) Corporation of the Jos Plateau in Nigeria where I realized that the manager of a hydrolic mine, close to a hydro dam, was a stack illiterate who worked with the whites for a long time and able to manage the mine successfully. I think the hydrolic mining concept can be replicated in Ghana with some little training to galamsey operators.
