    I worked for him at UG back in the early seventies. A brilliant intellect who loved people and had such a great sense of humor and an affinity for comradery. I will miss him greatly.

    I totally agree with you. Not a mention was made that this man transformed University of Ghana to what it is today. Ghana media is replete with journalists who have poor writing skills. What a shame!

    Why not blame UG Legon or the government for not reporting Prof's death? The source is United Nations the reason their focus is on what Prof Kwapong did for UNU. I wish they had mentioned his age at death.

    Condolences to wife, children and family
    He achieved a lot for himself and put his country on the map. Will be missed by the Akwapim people. RIP. May the good lord take you in his bosom
