Instead for them to empower people to be able to work and earn their hard cash to take their own initiatives, they empower them to be poor and beggers. You can only do this to the people up there who have no clue to better lifes....

  It's high time each govt no matter who is in power teach citizens how to make money than hand over stuff for their own interest. Is the govt going to fill it for them too because it cost 50gh cedis to fill. And as it's been said before why that region, while other presidents used national money to educate the north now they call Ashanti's illiterates because they forget the hand that fed them.

  You give poor people gas cylinders and Gas price is soo high, what do you want them to do? Where is the money to buy the gas for the cylinder, when the price is so expensive?

  the issue is not about getting the cylinder, it is about getting money to fill those cylinders and also compering the price of firewood and charcoal to the price of LPG.

  from this background the poor will continue to use their charcoal and firewood, to me this is a wasted effort.
