People down the totem pole see those at the top as undisciplined so they follow suit. If your boss is punctual and is in before anyone else, you learn to do the same to avoid bad consequences. How many people show up at the parliament daily and on time? How many state functions start on time? Desouza signs up for a conference in the US and does not show up at the conference but Mahama rewards her with a position at home. People see what is going on at the top and they do the same. Nunoo-Mensah should discipline his contemporaries at the top before attempting to preach to the masses.

Nunoo Mensah who? Are these not those people through their AFRC/PNDC/NDC gangs downgraded and destroyed Ghana. What have they achieved so far with their so-called revolution. Do they think because they are old they have achieved any success?
These people (Nunoo Mensah, JJ Rawlings, Dan Abodakpi, ET Mensah, and all those AFRC/PNDC/NDC idiots) have amassed wealth at the expense
the people, yet they think they are the best. Now we are all reaping the fruits of their selfishness and wealth grabbing adventure. Because they thought nation-building should be through the gun rather than through ideas of which they had none now see what they are putting Ghanaians through - chaos, corruption, lawlessness, bad and corrupt leadership and governance in the name of MAHAMA, and all the negative things one can think about. What does this idiot mean by indiscipline? Can all these idiots pass their own Probity and Accountability test? Is that the discipline he is referring to or what type of discipline? Idiots

Everybody is complaining bitterly but very few dare speak the truth . We shall never move forward until the undeclared war against the Akans, discrimination of the majority and anti Akan propaganda hate agenda is resolved. One must fight fire with fire , war with war not kisses or playing ignorant to the reality . the northerners , ewes , Muslims and other traitors of the Akan interest are systematically destroying the future of the Akans . There is no democracy or govt of the people and by the people but the slow establishment of the caliphate of pepeni murderers using a system of corrupt govt that makes irrelevant all institutions of state in the form of a Saudi style monarchy of mahama and his brothers . Despite our huge potential and the fact that any true patriotic nationalist govt can definitely turn the economy around in less than 6 months , we are bogged down in this situation of undeclared war of the ayigbe and pepeni mafia who have hijacked all institutes of state . only a bloody revolution will set us free . everything we have predicted over the past few years has come to pass and there is more evil to come until we stand up accept that we are at war and must fight back. Even Obama now realizes this caliphate is a serious threat to mankind's peace and unity . All religions are from God but over time the devil ensures the good is interpreted by the wicked and used to cause harm , the righteous know religion is meant to ensure unity and goodwill amongst men not pain and suffering or discrimination. On one hand we have the mafia ndc killing our people's future and around the corner nana chooses as his closest allies northerners who will continue the agenda of hate , wait for the clarion call for freedom and spare none of these criminals in the political oligarchy of corruption and evil . JJ and his ayigbe criminals started this process and God will continue to punish us with hardships and pestilences if we do not stand up

Nunoo-Mensah lacks a brain - and with that: no knowledge, no conscience, no ethics of any kind! Treason is what Nunoo-Mensah excels at. He has no shame admitting that he prostituted for various foreign intelligence agencies, the most notorious instance being the coup against Nkrumah.
He boast about building a school block (we all know where the funds came from) and does not realize - due to his lack of a brain - that had Nkrumah not been overthrown this country would have excelled in everything under the sun. Nkrumah built hundreds of schools. We have schools-under-trees in this country now because of the treason of Nunoo-Mensah!

Nunoo is close to the problem but calling solves nothing, and insults are for the playground... so let’s identify the real historical problem in Ghana. It runs deep and it works like this… Daily, every honest transaction in Ghanaian society that is accompanied by someone seeking ‘small small’ money, a bribe, a corrupt inducement, beyond the actual true value of the goods or service traded, is a black market transaction, much like a tax levied on the community by itself. But in this case, it is not reinvested in the community as a good tax should be, it serves only to satisfy individual greed. It creates price uncertainty, it creates nothing of value, discourages investment from abroad, and sends a message to the rest of the world that Ghanaian law and regulation is unreliable, unethical and corrupt. I have seen banks take money from people’s bank accounts unlawfully and in reply when questioned, they become silent. Custom officers demanding ridiculous bribes from importers, claiming this to be fair duties or levies. Local people having their goods stolen by postal workers when they cannot afford to pay inflated duties. This is fraud. Widely perpetuated scams, condoned by those who should not tolerate it, used by those in positions of privilege. Local court Judges who apply the law according to who pays more Cedis. So called business professionals who will find any excuse to demand more money, finding satisfaction in providing poor service, thinking it saves them money. Police offers who take bribes every day are just as bad as drug dealers running drug money. Politicians who are more interested in their personal wealth and stature, who honestly care little for their community or fellow citizens. You see, no one is really sure if the Cedis in their pocket is enough, because there is always someone ready to add this black market tax to the cost of your goods somewhere along the supply chain. Inflationary, dishonest and corrupt. The world see's the truth driving Ghana and so too do Ghanaians. Power shortages, water shortages, poor roads, and lack of employment, simply don’t add up when the country has Gold, Oil, Commodities and Mineral wealth. Ask yourselves where does the wealth in Ghana reside? After the government repays the huge debt responsibility it has to its foreign creditors, can you find what is left? Can you see it being invested in your community to improve basic services and to support local industry to increase productivity? Your currency reflects the damage being done directly by your government, through the underlying willingness of so many to operate corruptly outside the law, and inevitably, through lack of confidence that follows. Do I want to buy a currency that is waist deep in corruption? No. Do the honest people in Ghana want it? No. Do the corrupt want it? Yes, so they can exchange it for dollars as soon as possible before it loses value. Remember this, history is repeating itself. Ghana has always been plagued with inflation and in response, the government has always tried fixing it by revaluing or controlling the currency. Go back to your history books and see for yourself. The currency is not the problem, neither is the dollar, it’s just the corrupt fiscal mentality in Ghana that keeps poisoning the currency and the country. ‘If the country and people neglect their own productive efforts and instead seek money from the chieftain without producing value for it, then soon even the chieftain has no resources to provide.’ Poverty consciousness does not create wealth, it just delivers poverty. I honestly feel a great sadness that Ghana does not have the leaders it deserves. Selfless leaders who can communicate to the people that old ways will never deliver new results, and that the ‘give me’ mentality only leads to poverty. Are your current leaders doing their best for you, or are they only looking after themselves, their associates and their personal wealth. Ghanaians are beautiful people at heart, and this makes it easier for your government and those dishonest, greedy people around you to take advantage of this situation, and ignore your community’s needs. Now if you are still with me and don’t believe what I am saying, ask yourself... Are you part of the problem, part of the solution, or simply don’t care… and then tell your children.

Sir, Yours is a Very High Office in the Government. INDISCIPLINE, as some of us know, is a SECURITY ISSUE.
What suggestions are you making to Govt., of which National Security is a CRITICAL PART, to deal with the ISSUE of Indiscipline?
By saying that this will not happen on your watch, I think it is fair to infer that you mean if you were the President. Very few Ghanaians will be President in our lifetime and I am sure you will agree with me that you have passed the stage of being President. But you are PROXIMATELY situated to the PRESIDENCY and this gives you a PLATFORM to let your fellow Decision Makers know what will NOT happen on your watch and why it must NOT happen on theirs.
As for us, we are just ORDINARY CITIZENS who will NOT BE LISTENED TO or BE HEARD or EVEN LOOKED AT.
As Head of National Security you had a RESPONSIBILITY to the STATE and the Ghanaian People to VET all Appointees and to make SURE only those who can be entrusted with State Assets were selected for that purpose. How come, then, that we have SO MANY ISSUES of CORRUPTION and INDISCIPLINE in Govt.?
The many CAPABLE and PROVEN men and women with STELLAR credentials you vetted who were REJECTED not because of anything they had done wrong BUT because a few PARTY GURUS knew they COULD NOT HAVE THEIR WAY WITH THEM because they were INCORRUPTIBLE, did you insist on their INCLUSION to HELP STEM the TIDE of this current Level of Corruption and Indiscipline?
Is it the CASE that Your INPUT and ADVICE were not CONSIDERED or NEEDED or RESPECTED or IGNORED?
I am sure you have a DOSSIER on most Appointees; The Good, The Not So Good, the Bad and the Very Bad. Did you make such information available for consideration in making appointments? As disciplined as you are, some of us know you very well, I am sure you did. But it was TOSSED OUT of the WINDOW because it did NOT FIT the AGENDA of a SELECT FEW.
You see, Sir, it is that SELECT FEW who you must be directing your GOOD and NEEDED Comments to, for them to know the HAVOC and CHAIOS and UNTOLD HHARDSHIP that their SELF-INTEREST BASED DECISIONS have brought to the Ghanaian People.
Talking about it Publicly is Fine BUT talk ALONE will NOT EXCULPATE You from COLLECTIVE FAILURE. If your intention is to distant yourselves from that CLEAR and PRESENT and LOOMING Indiscipline, then YOU MUST ACT and ACT NOW.
Confront those who have the Power and Prerogatives to DO that which ought to be DONE which is what you would do 'ON YOUR WATCH' and make PUBLIC those IDEAS and SUGGESTIONS and their REJECTION and THEN WOULD BE TIME for you to engage us on what will or won't Happen ON YOUR WATCH.
Some might say why don't you resign, if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen, bla, bla bla.
NO!!! IT IS TOO LATE IN THE DAY FOR THAT. You are NOT Resigning and You are NOT Getting Out of the Kitchen. You are going to be part of the SOLUTION because it is obvious from where you STAND and from the PODIUM you speak that you know what NEEDS TO BE DONE.
Good Day, Sir.

The statement may hurt but he is spot on. Only those who have no concern for Ghana would disagree with the real state of the situation in Ghana. A disciplined individual would not be corrupt, arrogant, irresponsible, disobey the laws, lie or fabricate stories, disrespect difference, dishonest, socially/morally corrupt and untruthful. Rather sadly, it seems lack of education on the actual meaning of democracy seem to create an atmosphere of social decadence as many Ghanaians seem to understand 'democracy' as 'let's talk' without considering that democracy also comes with respect for others views and responsibility for what one says and does.

Ghanaians should be worried, but your present woes can be overcome. Take a meditative mind to the root cause of your current problems, which are all centred on your economy and the effectiveness of your leaders. Name calling solves nothing, and insults are for the playground... so let’s identify the real historical problem in Ghana. It runs deep and it smells like this… Daily, every honest transaction in Ghanaian society that is accompanied by someone seeking ‘small small’ money, a bribe, a corrupt inducement, beyond the actual true value of the goods or service traded, is a black market transaction, much like a tax levied on the community by itself.

Sir you are right,
the system is collapsing, the Ghanaian today adhores money, big cars ,everything big, cause that's what society like, its even happening in the churches. the men of god are suppose to be teaching us that, but they rather adhore people with money,
some of us leaving in England ,work hard as early as 4 am we are on our way to work.
the system in Ghana today is useless.
for example. take one indian youth, one Lebanese youth, and one Ghanaian youth, and give them 50 000 dollars each,
and after two years, call them back and ask them to account for the money, weather the ghanaian can account for any thing....
The indian and Lebanese can account for the money even with good interest,
But the Ghanaian will use the money to buy 4x4 jeep because that's what people will see him and respect him, and go and rent some ones house, and buy nice furniture and everything to fill the room., then look for a girl that befits him...after three years, the land lord will be looking for another rent, then it become an issue,,,
90 percent of ghanians has no plan B.the system is hopeless.
everything we blame government, listing no body on this earth prays more than Ghanaians, We even pray more than the Israelists, Praying without implementing is useless.we shall always be hungry if people don't change their attitude.. the problem is attitude, a lot of things.
If you go to Ghana, you will see people driving 4x4 s and and looking pompose praud, because he is driving a jeep.
but you go to the white mans country and people pack four jeeps at home and rushing to the tub station to join
train, then you don't understand the Ghanaian
it makes me wired ( funny )
ignorance kills people.........

Nunoo-Mensah is failing to understand that there is no good leader in the country. Under Kufour's administration, he was in the country by then, but did not feel the country was collapsing. If it is today, he does not have to blame it on indiscipline. A highly effective leader can turn lazy people into hard workers. The current leadership is directionless and clueless, therefore they cannot guide the nation to economic prosperity.

Mr Nunoo did not exclude himself, and as such I suggest he begins with himself as an example of change. What he and some Ghanaians do not know is that there are many decent Ghanaians in the country, raising highly disciplined families for disciplined societies. Those who try to do what is right are constantly being silenced by some the so-called leaders. What do they expect??? The pure Ghanaians are silently praying and watching. Their time will surely come. PLEEEEEEASE STOP insulting all Ghanaians. We all don't work for you, and we all don't live with you.

An education system which fails to encourage analytical thinking from nursery to university level is a failed state..........and if you don't agree look carefully around you and my assessment would be staring you right in the face.
A nation of chew, pour, pass and forget citizens will always beg for alms and live in filth......and then turn around to blame others but, themselves. So called educated citizens playing tribal politics and driving like lunatics and living in FILTH!!!!!!
All we concentrate on is educating ourselves in somebody else's 'lingo' and believe we can be like them????
Without understanding who we are first and where we come from. Hell no!
What we need to do is to change our mind-set and start applying our God-given brains to our problems and stop the begging and the importation of toothpicks to toilet rolls. What a shame!!!

Dear sir, your comment is very true but the fact is that failed administrations always breed indiscipline. If people in govt have made govt a centre for wealth where everybody is looting, getting rich overnight, then the masses who also deserve the best but going hungry begin to exploit all avenues for survival and that constitute indiscipline. Indiscipline begins from looting govt coffers, electoral fraud and other malfeasance and even adding insult to injury like you are doing now. Find a way of helping fix the economy and that will reduce indiscipline drastically . We have so many strong and outspoken Generals who could talk but want to maintain their dignity. Please let the populace respect the rank like they do in the states and other advance countries. Politicians are likely to mislead you. Hmmmmmm......

All Ghanaians today have sadly lost focus and rationality hence our dear nation is getting out of our hands. In short may God bless Nunoo Mensah for at least his matured boldness that we can not find among the so called politicians and the ministers of the Bible and the Koran.
This is not about abuse, but it is a matters of pinpointing the wrongs in our system and the mindset in particular which has proved how stupid we are in Ghana. May God helps us to change, because this mentality of laziness and selfishness will never help our nation to stand in the area of development.
No wonder we are at the crossroads and sitting in the limbo, and waiting for the white man to come and do the thinking for us. Shame unto us all in this Ghana.

Mr. Noonu-Mensah, asking Ghanaian youths to wage war on corruption is a welcome suggestion because if the youth eschew corruption now the better it will be for all Ghanaians and likely create a better standard of living for every Ghanaian in the future. Unfortunately, your description of Ghanaians as drunkards is to be polite to you "nonsense" because the hopelessness and the direction the country is currently going under the corrupt Mahama's administration and the struggle and hard life majority of the citizens are going through push some people to resort to drink themselves out of their circumstances and sorrow at times, and that does not mean they are habitual drunkards.
On the question of porous corruption within Mahama administration practices, Mr. Nuuno-Mensah, you've been with Mahama government since he's been in office during the past five to six years. During all those years, I don't recall you ever advocating for a fight to stamp out corruption. Why the sudden unexpected change of attitude or it is just now that you have come to realize that it does not pay to be corrupt?. Any way, if you want to leave a memorable impact on a fight against corruption, it would be best for you to personally start the fight against corruption which is predominantly entrenched in Mahama's government and his political appointees. Mr. Nunoo-Mensah, for Ghanaians to have confidence and trust in you, you have to prove it to us that you mean what you say and that you word is your bond, and that you are prepared to fight corruption from to very top i.e. Mahama all the way down to the lowest government employee, even if it'll cause you your office. Any cause of action you plan to pursue that is short of inclusive of Mahama would be unacceptable.
This man is becoming too nuisance. There is lack of discipline in his government
