    what profit did the government gain with all the rice production in Ghana?
    cattle production is also profitable.
    The government should keep the cattle farm than wasting the tax payers money to pay to the corrupt land owners ...

    settle this issue and get his project going. I wish the land is given to a private firm rather as Gov. is not good entrepreneur. Why don't Gov. acquire the land and then lease it to private firm to farm rice on it?

    Smartly said. The government cannot even construct drainage systems properly in the 21st century and yet it wants to run banks and other businesses. The people running the government are bureaucrats and not entrepreneurs.

    Why is government undertaking another rice project in Aveyime when it already has one right next door which in the name of Prairie Volta Limited, which it is failing to support?
