Many businesses operate from homes especially African businesses where shipping of goods is the business. Most of these people only rent places when they have goods to ship instead of having permanent warehouses and sometimes it takes six months to get enough goods to ship so they use their homes as business addresses.

Check if the mony put in the bank was lawfully made, but that may be setting a bad precedent, are we going back to the CVC? The man did not carry fiscal cash through the airports as some international companies, fly-by-night far east/middle east are known to do, it was transferred through a licensed commercial bank, for goodness sake. Or may be they have information about his illegal drugs or gun running firm? Maersk is a shipper, so all shippers are firms! what logic! surree, interpol must be the be-all and end-all, so let them come and adjudicate this case and while they are at it let them publish the names of all firms and individuals that have transferred monies through the commercial banks during the same time period.

Nigerians are less jealous and criminal than Ghanaians. He did make a mistake by being affiliated with any political party though. If you want to get very rich in Ghana you have to be part of both the Criminal NDC and NPP because the governments change so often... He is a businessman, and entrepreneur who employs hundreds of people, and given our family and social network, means that hundreds more depend on him for their daily bread and sustenance. His accusers have no idea how a business is formed and how business transactions are done. If the attempt is to destroy Kessben’s businesses, indeed Ghana will be the failure. Just as Rawlings destroyed our entrepreneurs, Mahama’s government is now looking for scape goats to mask his own failure in articulating a forward thinking economic plan.

The real money launderers in Ghana are the ministers and party officials who receive massive bribes and then change their cedis into dollars at Forex Bureaus every evening.

Kessben is doing LEGITIMATE business. IF he has contravened tax laws,, and not paid up his taxes, assess how much he owes the state and leave him to continue doing his job.

We must not destroy our own entrepreneurs why we allow KALABULE foreigners to prosper in GHANA.

The sad part is that since 2009, the NDC government has paid up over 600 million dollars in so-called judgment debts, aided and abetted by corrupt NDC officials (Source: Auditor General’s Department; Accountant Generals Department; Sole Judgment Debt Commissioner). Woyome’s is only the tip of the iceberg. And all those people are walking free!!
