When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Wny appoint a used car salesman (Annan) and a pastor (Okpoti) to run the premier teaching hospital like Korle Bu? It is a disease: madness--which Korle Bu cannot cure.

square pecks in round holes. Politics can make a painter or ice water seller to become minister in just days. this is what we call 'better Ghana agenda' or decelerating economic development/achievement agenda

Not at all! He must be removed before the end of his first week in office. He has given us a foretaste of things to come, and if the president overlooks this first step, then God help the health of all Ghanaians!

I agree with Franklin Cudjoe that the Korle Bu Board should be dismantled soonest.
That the current Korle Bu Board should be dissolved is not a matter that requires any further discussion. It is a long overdue necessity. What should come up for discussion is the substance of the composition of a new Board. Please refer to my proposals of, 9th July 2014 on Ghanaweb titled, “CONGRATULATIONS SENIOR STAFF OF KORLE BU”, in reaction to the article, “Korle Bu CEO was incompetent – Staff.”
I also think that, the daft new Minister of Health should also be demoted to whatever he was before he was appointed as the Minister of Health.

Below, I refer to excerpts of my reactions of 9th July 2014 on the same matter.
"Good job done. I hope that your good work is not just aimed at management staff.
It is public - although unproven knowledge that many junior and senior staff members are also in all sorts o shady activities at the hospital.
Your next stop is to ensure that the Board is dissolved soonest. How can you have a Board with a discredited and a sacked former CEO in it? How can you also have a Board with characters such as Eddy Annan, the former sacked CEOs partner in crime in it as the Board Chairman?
After that make sure that the next Board to be set up must reflect the human resource characteristics of the hospital. Nurses, junior officers and laborers who form the largest working groups within the hospital must be represented in any new Board.
Boards are not meant to be an enclave of befuddled senior officers who do not know how to wipe their asses nor is membership of a Board meant to be juicy rewards for those with higher education.
Boards are meant to be organs that can make the management and running of an institution easier and better. The exclusion of the most numerous and powerful workforce in an organization in a Board, is an indisputable indication that the elite of that organization have ganged up against the interests of the workforce.
It is simply undemocratic, unfeasible and unreasonable to have only management staff in a hospital Board - or for that matter, any other Board in an organization within any developing economy."
I still stand by those suggestions and hope that the Health Ministry will consider implementing the Board Membership proposals.
