I do have to admit that I found this article extremely disappointing, and it truly does reflect very badly on the person who wrote it. As others have pointed out it is "librarians" and not "Liberians". CARLIGH is the name of the organization, not CALIGH. Plus there were so many other mistakes - of spelling, capitalization (or the lack thereof), and sheer content, that I wouldn't know what else to say that would be anything but highly derogatory. The author of the article would get an F in my book; and the copy editor no better!

Is this a JOKE? the second lady of Ghana called on Liberians to be innovative? I just can't stop cracking up. Are Ghanaians innovative? Indeed i always get my daily dose of laughter after reading Ghanaweb.

Take note, Liberia is a country in West Africa and Librarian is a profession, you are an ignoramus to the extent that you can't distinguish between the two. This is the kind of half baked journalism the country is producing

Well, as a librarian (and president of Ghana Together, working with the good people of Axim to strengthen the library there), I forgive the reporter for word slipup and congratulate your VP spouse for her good, well-thought out ideas! We are working on our libraries here in the US, too, to make them more truly community lifelong learning, cultural centers, which create citizens from everywhere who can really reach their potential and also handle the responsibilities of a democracy.
