Thank you, sister Mary, for your speaking up with your reflective article!!! We have just seen evidence of the same culture in the way Ghana's National Football (Soccer) Team has been treated in the 2014 World Cup on international stage, not to mention the involvement of a Ghanaian official, together with a FIFA official, in allegations of match fixing. This unfortunate aspect of Ghanaian culture permeates all spheres from sport, politics, business and beauty. It is important for our generation to speak up and refuse to endorse such a detrimental culture as acceptable!

The deceit, corruption, incompetence, selfishness, lack of common human decency and sheer stupidity is so pervasive that you are wasting your time writing about it. You sound like a smart ambitious young woman. My advice to you: 1. Pursue your personal ambitions. 2. As much as you can, anything "Ghanaian".
