It is insane for us to continue to vote for the NDC party which continues to divide our country on tribal lines. I have switched to a better party which aims at developing the nation as a whole.

There is no confusion about the process as this newspaper purports. The constitutional process would be followed and the number would be trimmed to 5 as the constitution states.

The latest news I've gotten through the vines is that Nana may be thinking about clearing the path for Dr. Bawumia to ascend the Presidency in midstream of their joint tenure.

I hear that Nana intends to step aside for Dr. Bawumia either in their 3rd year of the first term, should the term turn out to be easy-going, or in the 5th year, if their first term chalks considerable successes but not enough to send the Dr. alone up into the second term as the Flagbearer.

That is quite enticing a proposition to those of the Northern background who vote with enthnocentric sentiments. However, I would prefer the Dr. standing up tall enough to be counted on his own strengths. Ethnicity must not be his main propeller.

It would have been even better if Nana did not run at all but gave his full support to the Dr. to team up with either Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, or Alan, or Arthur Kennedy, or Nyaho-Tamakloe, this very moment.

That last option could have killed two birds with one stone. It could have instantly dissolved the long-standing suspicion that NPP is too Akan-Centered to every choose a Northerner for a President, and also offered the Nation a comparable youthful challenger to the NDC's incumbent President.

Nana Addo is the biggest obstacle eot Bawumia becoming president in the future. He has taken the poor boy to 3 defeats already and is lining him up for a 4th defeat.
