Why should the government waste time listening to these carpentry and mud brick building instructors?
Government should sack these idiots being used by politicians and replace them with experienced professional carpenters and masons who will teach the children something practical.
I hope these POTAG members don't call themselves teachers, and certainly not lecturers - they are mere instructors.

The president, John Mahama has woefully failed the nation. His performance as a president earns him 'F'.He behaves as if he does not know what is at stake.
We can not find any minister of state who is performing well. They all score 'F' like their president. All what these non performing ministers know is to loot our nation's coffers.
With regard to sanitary pads John Mahama is trying to provide to our school girls, I am very sure that it is condition that is attached to the loan. I am sure the loan country has told our unperformed government to use some portion to buy the pads. The loan country government is trying to boost economic activity in his country.
Our government, NDC is desperate to get the loan, so our government has agreed to buy the pads. What a dumb government. I am sure that is the main reason for sanitary pads for our school girls. Can you understand this pad policy? Apart from NDC party and government officials, have you seen any generosity on the part of NDC government. They loot and share among themselves. They are always looking for avenues to steal, loot and share. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings got $4 million from Woyome's loot. That is what NDC is good at. They don't think of Ghanaians at all. why then this school pads for girls?

I pray that Ghana will never qualify for any world sport so that thieves like this man will not profit.
The motto was "forward ever, backward never." It is now; "backward ever, forward never."
You are calling thieves and corrupt politicians 'honorable.'

By the way, what is this allowance for? If for doing research and writing books, then I don't see the need for such allowance. All university professors do and must undertake research to freshen their brains. So their pay should cover that. I don't think position descriptions of the profs appointments mention that they should undertake research while employed and they would be compensated in the form of such allowance.
Whenever a prof writes a book, does his/her employers benefit by way of getting some of the royalties? I don't think so. How many profs write a book more so, books. So why such allowance?
If such allowance is to bump up their pay checks, either rename this allowance or give them a raise and do away with this allowance. It is mockery. I don't know where in the world such allowance exit.
