Even in Ghana what were the ages of Nkrumah, Busia, Linman, Rawlings, Acheampong, Akuffo, and Kuffour when they were the leaders of this nation, even in those days. In this modern world where on earth will the citizens vote and elect a 73yrs of age man as their president. Lack of foresight NPP can elect Nana Addo as their presidential candidate but I'm one of the people who will strongly campaign against Nana Addo, because of his age. I honestly find it difficult to understand Nana Addo's logic in the analyses he makes of the electoral register especially his comparison of the rates of registration between our register and those of the countries he cites. He states that 'countries like Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, Cote D'Ivoire and other countries in Africa that all have electoral registers well below 50 percent, however in Ghana the figure is 56%....'

all the countries he cites, including South Africa that he touts as being more politically savvy cannot compare to Ghana in political experience. In the first place we had our independence before all of them. In recent times, when we returned to democracy in 1992, all of them were under military or even civilian dictatorships. Ghana has had six consecutive democratic elections. Does he care to compare that with the countries he cites? In 1992 when we were going to the polls, South Africa was negotiating its exit from apartheid. How could that country be more politically more mature?

Ghanaians have a long way to go!! The politics of the day is not about the welfare of the citizenry in perspective!! But it is unresponsible way by which certain advantages will appear to the people aggrieved in opposition to cash in on how to ever get to power!! Why is it that the African, I mean the blackman in either Africa and for that matter Ghana will only think of the parochial and rusted means by which they will get into power for the sake of power and not any reasonable approaches either collectively or otherwise to alleviate the sufferings of the people and help in laying out constructive methodologies , which are open based and rational enough to push the country into another progressive gear!! Why say all these??
The opposition parties in the civilised countries and for that matter developed countries assess programmes and projects and even plans being put across by ruling governments and be able to see before hand or in good time to know the alternatives as abound in human organisations!!! In Ghana, the politicians who become tired in opposition relegatye their responsibilities , claim they have the magic want to sort things out or solve the hydra headed problems when they come t=into government and only like to get elections or voters re3gister in such a way that they can have an urge to also win power!! When people are wallowing up in difficulties, where in lies the justification of selfish politicians who claim to know the solutions to all the problems the people face and yet keep quiet and wich they were in power to unleash the problems!!! So if it takes them 10 years or more or even less, they will not present alternatives and in this narrow perspective, heaven knows which number of the citizenry will be alive or remain for them to come into power before they come to lay out their so-called perfect solutions to problems!!
Here people are hungry, salaries are not paid, people are not being employed due to low cash available to the government, where in lies the justification, if any for opposition parties to keep quiet over their so-called solutions and only have the guts to be asking of voters register to be cleaned or whatever, when elections are 2 years away!!! What happens to the people dying today, people hungry today, people afflicted today and needed emergency or social support and collective re-direction of the nation in overcoming the state's challenges seem not to be a priority of sitting opposition parties!! Shame this wicked and narrow power seeking modules can never ever help our country move forward. Why jump out of the reasonableness, rationalities of offering political truths and methods that can help the citizenry in all hands -on-deck fashion in an attempt to bring collective joy to the yawning masses but rather attempt to cheat the intelligence of the citizens each time as if when people are in opposition, they have the magic wand to solve the perennial problems of backwardness and economic amnesia that face our lot!!! People should NOT pretend, especially the opposition, that they love Ghanaians!! Where are the opposition party's alternative policies and plans that citizens can weigh and choose from??? Give us a break as the whole phenomenon of opposition is as business as usual!! Ghanaians must know, the politicians have their own way of cheating their intelligence. Ten thousand registered voters did vote, yet people were double voting and over voting.
Ghost names, those registered names may come from that constitency but live and registered in different constituency.
We must respect our electoral register and without a good and correct one, no govt can ever manager our economy. If you dont know how many to feed, you only guessing the amount of food and not thinking about the people.
Afari Gyan dont think about the people afterall he is not the president. If he Afari Gyan cant do his work as the chairman of EC, its only the president who can sack him.

Nana Addo's accusation of EC's voters register is a cheap political propaganda that has no merit in modern politics. Ghana's EC rather needs commendation compared to other countries in sub-Sahara Africa. Ghana is the first country in Africa that attained independence and had it not been unnecessary coup d'etat we could have been in equal footing with western world in terms of development. In this modern world everyone who attains the age of 18 is eligible to vote in his or her country. Any good country is supposed to have a mechanism to register citizens automatically and it is only in Africa where citizens go through cumbersome queues and process to be registered. This is even sad for Ghana where Nana Addo was supposed to have lamented but not the number of population eligible to vote. It is also not true that Ghana voter/population is higher than South Africa. It is well higher than Kenya and Cote D'Ivoire but those countries just emerged from civil war and could not be compared to Ghana.
The indication that Ghana has 57% voter/population is also a sign that people trust our democracy and the rule of law. Nana Addo cannot disenfranchise part of eligible voters for him to win power. It is very sad, that Nana Addo can roam down his unmerited and unpatriotic ideas even to intellectuals who are brainwashed and power conscious. The figures below shows how western world are better and the rule of law is working. This clearly shows how Nana Addo has no good motive for Ghanaians.

In any job seeking process the candidate has to provide his qualifications and experience. Nana we want you to show us your law certificate. In addition we want you to tell us the name of the law school you attended and the names of some classmates. This is not a question of being an NDC, CPP, NPP, PNC, PPP etc. When people said the vice-President did not have a masters degree in economics, he went to the University of Ghana and collect his certificate in the presence of the media. If you say your professional certificate is missing then go to your law school and collect a copy. Ghanaians do not want a crook, a criminal and a fake lawyer to be our President. Produce your certificate and stop all this talking. People who go about saying that Nana is our saviour should tell us any accomplishing of Nana in his life. He has no public service experiece, he was a flop as justice minister and he has no certificate.

Nana Addo's accusation of EC's voters register is a cheap political propaganda that has no merit in modern politics. Ghana's EC rather needs commendation compared to other countries in sub-Sahara Africa. Ghana is the first country in Africa that attained independence and could have been equal footing with western world if not unnecessary coup. In this modern world everyone who attains the age of 18 is eligible to vote in his or her country. Any good country is supposed to have a mechanism to register citizens automatically and it is only in Africa where citizens go through cumbersome queues and process to be registered. Notwithstanding this, Nana Addo rather should applaud EC for achieving 57% Voter/Population ratio. It is also not true that Ghana voter/population ratio is higher than South Africa. It is well higher than Kenya and Cote D'Ivoire but remember these countries have had civil unrest.
The indication that Ghana has 57% voter/population ratio is also a sign that people trust our democracy and the rule of law. Nana Addo cannot disenfranchise part of eligible voters for him to win power. It is very sad, that Nana Addo can roam down his unacademic and unpatriotic ideas even to intellectuals who are brainwashed and power conscious. I will back others who claim Nana Addo is not a lawyer. The figures below shows how western world are better and the rule of law is working. This clearly shows how Nana Addo has no good motive for Ghanaians apart from just wanting to be a president. I am sure the westerners are making mockery of our leaders.

The French backed the current President against Gbagbo and in return France now owns the Ivory Coast lock stock and barrel.
