The restructuring of GFA is long over due. There is the need for a complete weeding.Some of the officials need to even be charged for serious offences and for bringing the GFA and GHANA football on the whole, to disrepute.

There is nothing the President of the Country can do to restructure the Ghana Football Association for the GFA under its constitution Article 2.1. is a private organization of an associative nature, incorporated under the Companies Code 1963 Act 179, of Ghana as a Company Limited by Guarantee.

The President will be interfering in the affairs of a private organization if he attempts to restructure it.

There is a lot though that the President can do because the government of Ghana makes a huge grant to the Association. This grant gives the government a leverage to lean on the Executive of the Association to do what is right and above board and to ensure that it is accountable for its actions.

To do this however the advisers of the Government must read and scrutinize the Constitution of the GAF and use its articles to press for proper actions to be taken at all times.

They must call an emergency meeting and vote Nyantekyi out---something they will never do, considering the fact that they themselves may not be free from corruption. Even FIFA itself happens to be a bunch of corrupt officials. So there is no point asking FIFA to investigate and ev. ban Kwesi Nyantekyi from ghanaian football. I am sure the guy will be around for along time-------unless he is one day caught red handed.GHFUO , FIFA says the money will be fully refunded to Ghana. The players have lost money.
