This story sounds too fishy. How can a grown woman face be inside a boiling oil without an attempt to free herself?

Unless this woman purposely submerged her face in the oil in order to kill herself, this sound like foul play to me.

That can be the obvious scientific explanation. No need to speculate otherwise. Epileptic fits don't come announced.

The story appears to be one of heart attack or stroke. These are silent killers. The conditions may be there and the sufferer may not be aware, especially since people here do not do medical check ups. Homocide? Possible but less likely unless there were signs of struggle. A healthy person will not allow another to dip her face in boiling oil without putting up a struggle that will let the oil pan fall. However, stroke or heart attack could render her helpless

Somebody might have done this horrible act. How big was the pan and the volume of oil in it? Secondly, a 34year old African woman cannot let go so easily like that. Furthermore, we know, from the story here that she wasn't schizophrenic or suffered from any form of seizures. So ? Could the Ghana Police do a good job for us, please? Or they are going to ask for something from the mom of the deceased before proceeding to investigate?
