Tell Mahama for me that until the DUM SOR is ended, Ghana cannot have partners to stabilize the economy.
Corruption should be brought so low to its lowest ebb.
What about the menace of armed robbery in broad daylight on our roads, cities and towns.
Finally, the squared pegs in round holes is not working and cannot work.

Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. The Bank of Ghana (BOG) has no Eastern Regional headoffice. I don´t believe that the BOG has accurate data of the economic activity in the at least 12 Akyem districts which make up more than half the population on the region. The GDP and GNI of these Akyem districts are very high. They stem from:

Gold mining
Diamond mining
Cocoa
Oil Palm (the largest in West Africa)
Timber
Software development
etc

The money supply and capital in the at least 12 Akyem districts are wholly inadequate. BOG must remove impediments to the setting up of rural banks in these districts and encourage ADB and GCB to open branches in these districts.

The government must further ensure that wholly owned Ghanaian banks, including rural banks, get at least 80% of the banking revenue.

They have decided to thumb their noses at Ghanaians and make utterances that seem to provoke our sensibilities. In other words, "we are going to do what we want to do and nobody can do anything about it." It is absurd to take that kind of stance and then turn around tomorrow to appeal for partnerships. You can't eat your cake and have it. You cannot defiantly ignore all good advice and turn around to want partnership with the sensible people whose advice your just spurned. Who wants to partnership with crooks, irresponsibility and ineptitude? Maybe they should make such appeals in Mexico and Columbia where their likes dwell. Please save our ears and continue your dirty job!

WE HAVE MASSIVE GOLD AND DIAMONDS DEPOSITS, YET WE ALWAYS GO CAP-IN-HAND BEGGING "DONORS" AND EVERY OTHER TOM, DICK AND HARRY FOR BUDGETARY SUPPORT, AND WE DO NOT SEEM TO LEARN FROM THE TERRIBLE CONSEQUENCES.

WE HAVE THE GULF OF GUINEA RIGHT INFRONT OF OUR NOSES, YET WE CANNOT DESALINATE AND TREAT MASSIVE QUANTITIES OF WATER TO BE FED INTO OUR HYDRO-ELECTRIC DAMS AND WATER SUPPLY MAINS IN THE FEW LOCALITIES WHERE THERE ARE WATER MAINS.

WE HAVE THE TEMA OIL REFINERY, YET WE CANNOT EXPAND AND RETRO-FIT THAT FUCKING RRFINERY TO REFINE ALL OUR CRUDE OIL AND SELL IT TO TULLOW, ETC.

WE HAVE ALLOWED FOREIGNERS JUICY DRILLING RIGHTS AND CONCESSIONS OF OUR CRUDE OIL FIELDS WITHOUT EVER THINKING ABOUT THE NEED TO HORIZONTALLY INTEGRATE THE EXPLOITATION OF OUR NATURAL GAS AND THE MANY OTHER BY-PRODUCTS OF HYDROCARBONS (CRUDE OIL) TO ACHIEVE SIMPLE ECONOMIES OF SCALE.

WE HAVE COCOA, LUMBER (TIMBER), BAUXITE, MANGANESE, URANIUM, PLUTONIUM AND MANY OTHER NATURAL DEPOSITS, YET EXPLOITATIVE TAXES AND PETROLEUM PRICING HAVE BECOME GHANA'S MAIN SOURCES OF NATIONAL REVENUE.

THIS LEADERSHIP FOOLISHNESS AND DOWNRIGHT CORRUPTION ARE WHAT ALWAYS CAUSES OUR HUGE BUDGET DEFICITS AND PERENNIAL BORROWING TO LOOT AND SHARE AMONG THE POLITICAL LEADERSHIP.
