The Swedruman council of chiefs are right to be concerned with the report of students failure to attain good results in BECE exams. We should not blame the parents alone. I know some parents ignore to discipline their children when they are always visiting video centres and watching movies including porn movies. Agona Swedru being an urban town should have attracted high calibre of teachers and also trainee teachers from Teacher Training Schools dotted in Central region. I do not want to be a prophet of doom but I think the results of the students of the towns around Swedru will not be anything to write home about. Agona West Municipal Assembly and Ghana Educucation Service should get their act together and do something about this.
