GHANA HAS BEEN RAPED BY NDC IDIOTS. WE DO NOT NEED ANY NATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM, WE NEED A NATIONAL COURT OF JURISDICTION TO PUT MAHAMA AND HIS CABINET ON TRIAL. GHANA'S HOPELESS ECONOMIC SITUATION, TODAY, IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. NDC HAS OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS PRESIDED OVER THE BIGGEST RESOURCES IN OUR HISTORY INCLUDING CRUDE OIL & STEALTH TAXES. THEY HAVE ALSO CONTRACTED THE BIGGEST LOANS IN OUR HISTORY. IF THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR THIS AND THE ECONOMY IS IN SHAMBLES, THEN,THEY MUST BE PROSECUTED. THEY MUST GIVE THE MONEYS BACK TO THE TREASURY. WE DO NOT NEED ANY ECONOMIC FORUM. SET UP A COURT IMMEDIATELY. IT HAPPENED IN THAILAND RECENTLY, PRIME MINISTER YINGLUCK SHINAWATRA WAS REMOVED BY THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT FOR ABUSING POWER. LOOK AT GHANA, EMBRAER PLANE SCANDAL, STX KOREA, SUBAH, GYEEDA, WOYOMI, ISOFOTON, WATERVILLE, AFRICA AUTOMOBILE, CP, SADA, FORTIZ/MERCHANT BANK, AKONFEM AND A HOST OF OTHER DODGY JUDGEMENT DEBT PAYMENTS. BUYING VOTES WITH CASH, LAND CRUISERS & LAPTOPS JUST TO WIN ELECTIONS.FOR THE STUPID $3 BILLION CHINA LOAN,WE HAVE ALREADY PAID $54 MILLION FOR JUST $ 600 MILLION RELEASED. CHINA IS ALSO DEMANDING 15,000 BARRELS OF OUR CRUDE OIL DAILY!!!!---WHY NDC?????? WHY??? OUR SUPREME COURT COULD NOT HELP BUT DESCRIBED IT AS "ALLIANCE TO CREATE, LOOT AND SHARE" WHAT A SHAME? ?? AND YOU CALLING GHANAIANS TO A WASTEFUL ECONOMIC FORUM. NDC, THE MONEY IS WITH YOU, GIVE IT BACK TO GHANA. NPP, I SALUTE YOUR COURAGE FOR NOT ATTENDING. NPP REMAIN SMART AND VIGILANT!!!!!!

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY AFTER INDULGING IN SO MUCH CORRUPTION DURING ELECTION TIME IN 2012 THE NDC SHOULD TURN ROUND TO DEMAND SOLUTION FROM THE POPULACE ON HOW TO DIAGNOSE AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF OUR ECONOMIC MESS. THERE WAS NO NEED FOR THE SENCHI FORUM. EVEN THE MONIES THROWN AWAY THROUGH CORRUPTION IN POST ELECTION COULD HAVE HELPED TO AVERT THIS MESS. I CAN SAY WITH AUTHORITY THAT THE BIG MEN IN OUR SOCIETY: POLITICIANS, GOVT OFFICIALS, CHIEF DIRECTORS, MINISTERS, CHIEF EXECUTIVES, BOARD CHAIRMEN, PRINCIPALS, HEAD OF INSTITUTIONS, CHIEFS, THE PRESIDENT HIMSELF HAVE ALL CONTRIBUTED TO THIS MESS. THEY SHOULD LEAVE THE POOR PEOPLE ALONE.

Ken is the MAN i have always said so even though he is much milder than most of us and is in my opinion too tolerant of the foolishness of this political useless oligarchy destroying the country . Mahama and NDC can never do the right thing as they are burdened by their tribalism and corrupt souls . They think winning election gives them the right to the spoils of war so they can loot and ransack anything they can lay their hands on but they forget you got to actually do battle and shed blood first . coup de tats do not justify such wanton pillage and the sooner we organize our bloody uprising the better

When Osagyefo was overthrown what followed was the destruction of the economy of the country. The IMF and the World Bank advised the governments which followed to destroy the economy and they willingly and stupidly followed their neo-colonialist advice. They told them Ghana should not industrialize and they accepted it.They told them it will be cheaper for Ghana to import from them and they accepted it.The result is where the economy of the nation is now.Our economy is totally destroyed. We are just paying the price for following the destructive pieces of advice from the West and their financial institutions -pieces of advice aimed at destroying our economy for their benefit. It is sad that governments which followed the 1966 coup have been willing partners in the destruction of the nation's economy. Our past governments and leaders are guilty of siding with external governments and institutions to sabotage the economy of the country.

Ghanaians have had several opportunities to change the status quo, but I can bet we will repeat the same mistake.
We could have voted for a neutral party from the know two or even active the skirt and blouse balance, but as usual, we are slow to think and change.
Again, it is not ask if there are foreigners ruling us. Does our leaders and their lack of care, innovation and purpose tell anything about the Ghanaian society? The answer is easy to tell.

They sold virtually everything to the west. Why do you sell Ghana Telecom, a lucrative business that should be for Ghanaians. In Ethiopia, its a national policy that would never sell their telecommunication business. A population of 93 million with millions of mobile phones and internet connections. Where is Ghana Airways? Ethiopian Airlines made a profit of 400m. Where is Black Star Line? It is a shame. Democracy is not appropriate for us. We should do better. I am not proposing we should get away with it but mold it to suit our system.

What is this nonsense about NPP selling off Ghana Airways? When an airline has been so over-pampered and was siphoning off one million dollars from state coffers and a government is hold enough to stop the rot by liquidating it what did they do wrong? Did the NPP not do same with OSA? In both cases did the NPP not give a replacement? Ghana International Airlines and MMT respectively. So what was wrong with the actions taken. When some people sit in Accra and decide that some institutions they benefit from are sacred cows people like you who do not understand the dynamics imbibe their selfish arguments hook , line and sinker.
Please, appreciate decision makers who made a change in the country's development. Kudos to Prez. Kufuor and his able team!!

You are a coward and can't tell the truth. What successive govts. The economic parameters under Kuffuor were excellent and raised the country to middle income status. The achievements and developments of Kuffuor were a thousand times better than Rawlings and his corrupt and murderous NDC combined for the almost 30 yrs that they ruled. It is Rawlings and his NDC stranglehold on the country that has put Ghana in the mess that it is. So stop blaming any successive govts. and tell it like it is.Remember the old cedi under Rawlings, and how you needed a sack to carry them. So stop this behaviour. J J Rawlings in his long brutal dictatorial rule littered with blood of murdered innocent people has now cumulated into this mess. Kuffuor left behind a healthy economy. See how the destructive hands of NDC has done to it. Tell it like it is chump.

We know all of these stuff. The question is who is going to be held responsible? The Executive Branch ( the president and below) cannot do anything until parliament (the law, policy and regulatory branch) have enacted feasible and concrete National Dev't Plan devoid of partisan interest and then an independent Judiciary to enforce them also devoid of partisan consideration. THIS IS WHAT IS CALLED CHECKS AND BALANCES. Until we get to that level of inter-connectivity but yet independent system we cannot make any headway. There are so many countries I have visited that we have more natural resources than them and yet they are more developed than us and I asked the question WHY. The only answer I could gather is LACK OF LEADERSHIP. I concur with you on that.

In Ghana too many PhDs and still they cannot read between the lines when signing deals with the whites.
No fore sight for the future no reason and rhyme.
This is a new millennium, the seller’s and buyer’s market of yesteryear is gone. Tax break incentives strategy given to buyers is gone. Buyers tactics of “this is my offer take it or leave it” this kind of policy is gone too.
In all eventualities buyers will speed, to market that is critical to success and that often derail seller’s momentum and lower his perception of the target’s value.
These days, it is a tough deal market on both sides of the table; government must stay direct, focus and active not to be daunted upon their tourism facts.
No Allowances to foreign investors to hold foreign exchange with whichever bank they want. This allows investors to more easily extract their profits from the country. They must understand these tricks and should stop blow the country's 4billion dollars in 2years and try to accept 60million dollars from EU to support their budget proposal before signing up UNDESIREABLE CONTRACT. Ghana is not for SALE
