What about the expiring date of our bundles? Will Vodafone extend it? Or the apology is enough? I don't think so. This is an actionable offence. Take note!

Vodafone Ghana is just another disgraceful example of how multinational companies cheat, plunder and fail to honor basic agreed services in under-developed countries where we dont have the expertise and bold govts to keep them in proper check.
Even at their best, Vodafone is a nightmare. Until recently, I was a client of Vodafone, using their regular phone lines as well as their internet services which virtually broke down at least once a month. To get Vodafone technicians to rectify their own faults was a full time money-wasting job in itself. Even trying to call in to Vodafone offices by phone is worse than trying to contact any of our Ministries and govt institutions by phone. It is next to impossible.
For a telecommunications company that was supposed to teach us a thing or two about how to better manage a telephone company, I think that Vodafone has failed their side of the deal miserably. This and many other examples should inform our people that take-over or the selling off of our badly run local institutions by foreign interests is not always the solution.
Even more than half of their computers in their so-called Vodafone internet cafes within their own premises dont function properly. One can spend over 30 minutes of paid up time just simply trying to log on to the internet on their invariably faulty computers. If Vodafone thinks it is also not capable of running public internet services efficiently, they should just close shop and stick to the telephone bit and improve upon their services there instead of wasting everybody's time and resources. What nonsense is this?
They collude with our dubious and corrupt govts to buy off our state telecommunication facility at a give-away price instead of coming to set up their own, then they resort to also rip-off the public individually, without any remorse. Why?
The self-gratifying part in the Vodafone propaganda article above, that says among other things that "Vodafone Ghana is the most awarded telecoms company in Ghana, winning amongst others, Best Telecoms Brand for four successive years and CIMG ‘Marketing Oriented Company of the Year’ in 2013", does not help their cause in a country where one of the most corrupt and notorious looters of public funds in Ghanas history, has recently been awarded the business personality of the year by no less an organization than the Ghana Investments Promotion Center (GIPC). Anybody can get any award in Ghana if you can make a good offer.
Finally, whilst going through the international news this morning, in the British Gaurdian newspaper, to be specific, I came across the curious news item titled, "Vodafone reveals existence of secret wires that allow state surveillance". In that article, it is said that Vodafone either facilitated or allowed the lines and therefore the communication of their subscribers to be routinely tapped in countries where they operate. I would like Vodafone Ghana to publicly comment on this matter for the interest of all Ghanaians.
