These are some of the effects of having media that have nothing new or important to publish.

The only requirement to operate a media house is to have enough money to establish one. And the only requirement to be a journalist now is to go around and report on any info heard or seen.

The majority of media personnel are absolutely ignorant of what posses security threat, what violates our cultural and moral values or what must not be reported at all.

The NMC is the body that is promoting that. This write-up of theirs manifests the own failure and negligence. Shame!

They have no solutions or event genuine intentions to raise the standard of our people , create jobs and industry , ensure justice and peace or fix the economy . Whilst the statement by the National Media Commission is welcomed, I wonder why now? On many occasions I have seen some gruesome pictures of bodies of accident and murder victims published by the local media. My question is, did the National Media Commission see those horrible and undignified pictures and if so, what did they do about them?

The most effective regulatory mechanism is being consistent irrespective of one's socio-economic and political standing in society. What is wrong is wrong and the NMC should not only act when it's about a politician, the rich and powerful in society.

I am really becoming sad for this country, really. This society was not like this but what has happened over the years? There is break down of everything and those who are leaders in their respect should wake up they have been sleeping.
I never stop telling my children that they must be better than us. A society which does not the children better than their predecessors is a retrogressive society. Ghana in generally, is retrogressing. There is no two ways about this. Money! Money!! Money!!! This is all we are all concerned about to the neglect of other very critical things about our existence.
But we need to blame ourselves for failing to put in place the right leaders. What do we look out when selecting people to lead us? Is it about riches, education, beauty, or what? In my view, it is time we revisit the forgotten values which were taught during our earlier years in school. If I should become the president, my emphasis will not be how many roads, bridges and other physical monuments I build in my time but rather the things I generally describe as the ‘’soft’’ and untouchable things.
We shall very soon perish in the midst of useless things we have given more emphasis and attention to because we our selves have lost our directions.

Gradually, it is coming to light what my opinion has been over since on Daily Guide since I was matured to read news papers.
They are so scheme and I'm always dumbfounded how they succeeded to rally majority of the public to believe in their New Paper over the years. They are so Political, and will not hesitate to describe them as Mischievous to say the least judging from my analysis of how they consistently twist news in such manner to sound an absolute true to the public especially against their Political Opponent.
The Daily Guide as in their DNA only can publish insults to counter those who condemned their Publication on the late P.V Obeng not excluding Randy, the Media House that ignore that gutter publication, GJA etc. which I'm list surprised of.
