  Our judges are primitive beings who who consider themselves to be gods.

  there is the nees to disentralise the police sercice so that they can be supervised. all fines for road ofenses goes to the districts not pockets of policemen.

  The white fools who run these fucking organizations have never had the homes invaded by armed robbers before in their lives. They have never experienced the horror of seeing their wives and young daughters raped right in front of them before. So they sit in their cozy offices and homes and tell us what we should do in our countries which in the first place are being robbed clean by our politicians.
  
  The errors of our leaders are never criticized and they know very well they are the root causes of our problems which force some people to be armed robbers to be able to feed their families.
  
  The police have to meet force with force so there's definitely going to be some abuses here and there. So leave the police to do their job and I'm not talking about some judges just having a field day and jailing a hungry guy 30 years for stealing cassava feed his family. That is going overbooard.
  
  I'm talking about the real horrible crimes the politicians and the armed robbers are causing.
  
  Take that, AI!!!!Get your priorities right!!!!

  Walk into any police holding cells in the country and ask any detainees if they have been fed or given water and their answer will be NO ! This is torture !

  It is true that there are brutalities in some of the actions taken by the Ghana Police but it is not so much as in the USA.As much as I agree that the human rights of people must be respected the same people must be responsible for their own actions.When the people becomes so violent in their actions,it need the same force to bring them under control.Meanwhile I suggest to Amnesty International to be fair in reporting human rights issue in the World.By the way what is Amnesty International saying on countries that still practice the death penalty and torture and have refuse to abolish it like in the USA and others.

  This is an irrevant findings made by the Amnesty International. I don't know how they came by this inhuman findings as regards to the Ghana Police Service who has been ligitimately vested with constitutional rights to deal with the internal security of the land. I wander why the AI has been so partial to talk about the bad side of the Police Service leaving the good work done. I am really disappoited in AI. They should leave the Police Service alone and talk about turture of Boko Haram in Nigeria. God bless IGP and his men.

  I am sorry the Ai, can only write nonsenses and unfounded stories about third World countries, whiles the Developed countries are carrying out the most voracious Human Rights variations everyday and then all over the World for their selfish ends.
  
  I suggest the Ai should go to the USA, Britain, Italy etc and stop them of Police or Secret services variation of Human Rights.
  
  Note the same Ai, criticised Nigerian Military when they initiated the tackling of Bokko Harram right from beginning and now what happens? Ai is a puppet of the West and the USA. Leave the Police to do their job.
