Why did Rev. Bosomtwe-Ayensu leave out the chiefs? He lives in Obuasi and should compare that town to Johannesburg, South Africa. Is he afraid to take on the chiefs? For over a hundred years, Manhyia has collected hundreds of millions of dollars from royalties, but Obuasi and other mining towns still look very pathetic - straight out of the 19th Century. Yet, Manhyia buys a $5million mansion in London and another $2.5m house in South Africa, while hospitals and schools in Ashanti are in bad shape.

All over the country,chiefs are selling lands "like crazy" and pocketing the monies. And you have some robotic fools jumping up and down praising these greedy thieves.
The Methodist bishop has every right to condemn corrupt politicians, but he should also pay attention to the corruption and degradation of Christianity by his own brethren.

To say that "leaders of our time are nothing but big liars", is vague and vain talk. No matured person will make such a sweeping statement. Is he saying that he, as one of the leaders of our time, is nothing but a big liar?
The childishness of this bishop was in full glow when "he asked the President to explain which type of water: pipe-borne, well or borehole, he is referring to". If the bishop does not know that construction and expansion of infrastructure to deliver pipe-borne water at several places across the country cost a lot of money, it shows how shallow the bishop is.
If this bishop wants to do politics, the best thing for him to do is to put down his priestly robe and put on the proper political garment. He is not helping the cause of the Methodist church if he continues to turn synod meetings into political rallies.
Surely, the bishop is speaking the way he is speaking not because of his position as a bishop but because of his political affiliations.
