    I guess the ammunition were intentionally sold to the rebels. How come a group of tattered rebels could seize arms from a supposedly well-anointed army with the UN acting as a referee?

    If it is true that this really happened, someone should be punished. Where were the senior officers in charge when the soldiers' weapons were confiscated. No soldiers, no matter what, should voluntarily give up his fire arms.
