We have Regional administrtions in the three Northern Regions,why don`t the Government empower them to take up the task of fighting poverty in the three Northern Regions?
In Ghana because of corruption,we stepup identical organisation,looking at Government,one can see differrent people doing the same job.So if things go wrong they start shifing blame,at the of the day nobody is held responsible for anything,then it is the taxpayer who is the loser.
Lets be serious and build this nation,because we can do it if we really want to.

We don't need SADA and nothing will make it work better as long as they keep staffing it with people from the North. They have the stealing genes in their make up.

You question and suggestions are well intentioned but I believe Ghana needs an independent development oriented body like SADA to really make things work. The problem with the former SADA board it was frauded with inept and corrupt people. There were cliques from the Dagombas, the BONOBATO and Dagaaba. You do not run a development organization this way. The Afforestation unit was full of old retired civil servants who had no idea what they were doing. The new Board led by Lawyer Angelina may do better because of her track record at CHRAJ.

What prevents fine brains like Dr. Sakara from being appointed a CEO for SADA. Yes! You might say he is also a politician but clearly he is a politician with a difference. He is a self-made, successful and visionary citizen who deserves the opportunity to use his rich experience in salvaging SADA.

We need bold decisions here.

Dr Sakara is not looking for a job as CEO of SADA. He can't come from international jobs to a CEO position in SADA that puts has less qualified and experienced people over his head. If anything he could have served as chairm ...

Upright people like Dr Sakara will not allow the shameless crooks to have their way hence the powers be made sure patriotic northerners like Dr Wemah and Dr Sakara are sidelined. Thank God these people of substance deliberate exclusion has left their reputation and credibility wholesome . The President should be ashamed and at the same time can not be exonerated. What experience has Agambire got in tree planting? Was tree planting the number one priority? We had rice fields that have been abondoned for decades which were crying for resuscitation yet we chose to throw money away in the name of tree planting . The contradiction here is that whiles the president is "planting" trees, his siblings are cutting down trees to export to china. Time will tell.
