the problem with this northern mentality is that thanks to jj they now all have an unquenchable thirst for power but never to serve in a team or accept their fellow countrymen . just look around in Accra and study the majority of the businesses owned by these northerners and in the majority of the medium and Small sized businesses you notice they only employ their fellow northerners and practically never employ an Akan . Today in Accra the largest religious building in the country will be the mosque being build on our national park at Nima donated by Turkey confirming the Islamic domination of Ghana. Tribalism mixed with chauvinism and despotism from the north has now equaled the hegemony of the ewes . A.C.C.R.A any criminal can roam about so we have them everywhere now . even at the scholarship secretariat hardly ever is an Akan awarded the privilege to go abroad and study now . The Akans are the majority but because most continue to sleep or blindly trust the other tribes these atrocities are taking place . We look at the political strategy of the NDC and see the typical Hannibal wench when he turned the strengths of the mighty Roman army against themselves as they are doing to the Akans . From the south they use part of the Fantis and from the North the Brongs , from behind we have the chariot onslaught of the Gas Ewes Krobos. Yes the political landscape reflects a war which is only meant to destroy the right of self governance of the God's chosen nation of Africa the Akan . For them its a big deal who leads the NPP but we really don't care as our movement grows stronger by the hour as more and more Akans wake up to reality of this dire situation . We did not ask for this war but we will fight it and be victorious as God is with us . Long live the Republic of Akan

You are talking bullocks; otherwise I do admit that there is indeed a problem in Ghana and the problem is as real as you see it giving the tendency for well- educated Akans to shy away from voting your mate me ho; all-die-be-die crew into power. Do not lose sight of the fact that we are all Ghanaians; which incidentally makes you sound both childish and stupid. And, the more Akans keep making these juvenile assumptions and inferences, the more you display your kookoase mentality. Think about the millions of foreigners currently residing in Ghana and you will indeed have to understand that they will all have children who will become Ghanaians shortly. Get some education to update your coconut brain.

Nobody can hide the light and true destiny of the great nation of Akan. they use all kinds of schemes and tricks to undermine or deny a proper standard to us but we shall never surrender. we shall change and adapt as like the Israelis we are the chosen people of God and he in his great design has made us diverse but unified in spirit. the ashantis like the tribe of Judah are and will remain an integral part of our being to to attack any one part we all end up feeling it sooner or later. they have succeed in turning some of our chiefs and kings against us and work for their evil ungodly agenda but we still see clearly . God has brought us into the 21st century and with that a new system of governance and state of mind based on democracy since it is HE alone who blesses the individuals with the gift of leadership wisdom and justice irrespective of status at birth. he has shown us the blue print of the way forward in the bible and other holy books and the time has come to free ourselves from this man made bondage called Ghana. just as in the Ukraine we must fight so the truth will come out , fear not the battle as they will crumble like the walls of Jericho . cast away our so called fake leaders and politicians who are nothing but cowards and like our enemies fear even their own shadows . yes God has put a million fears in their empty bodies as he who does not fear the Lord , the Lord will ensure all fears of the world will reside in him. They threaten us with superstition , juju and what have you and we say fuck you and go to hell as the divine power is with us . Yes all the tribes of Akan are fingers on the same hands and God has ordained we remain united so our strength and light will be visible throughout the whole world and universe , our time has come . everyday its becoming clearer and clearer to all children of Akan that we must prepare mentally for a battle of freedom . they come with tricks that say we must take a non Akan as our leader because its nice ? do they not think that out of 30 million Akans we can not find sensible down to earth leaders and warriors to lead our own people to our own destiny? a govt of the people and by the people is what the 21st century democracy is all about . let them continue to play with the consensus and other figures that justify their fantasy and enable them to marginalize the participation of the Akan majority in the Affairs of their own land , to marginalize us thus preventing us to afford a better standard for our people . The had of God has given them pestilence after pestilence but they refuse to let our people go , soon they will be swept away like chaff in the hurricane of fury . Long live the republic of Akan and don't you forget it as now the Fanti speakers, Twi speakers, Ashantis and other tribes of Akan are now one .

I am indeed very shocked that the problem of ghost names on the list of public worker salary earners has resurfaced as a major problem confronting our Ghanaian economy. If my memory sets me right, during the tenure of office of the late Prof. Atta Mills, a biometric registration was taken of all Government sector workers. I for instance had to travel to Accra from the North to undertake this exercise since I missed out in the exercise in my own region. We all felt that the system of biometric registration of all government sector workers was going to deal a lethal blow forever to this canker of the immortality of the ghosts in our public sector wages. I am therefore very flabbergasted that barely after two years, that system has been deemed useless and cannot completely kill the ghosts in our public sector wages. What has happened along the lines? Is it that the biometric registration was not a well thought out system and hence its failure, or is it the question of the ghosts being so invincible that they cannot be over-powered by any policy to eliminate/completely wipe them out of the system?
My dear Mr. President Mahama, I am fully of the view that the problem is neither of the above. The problem is the greed, the corrupt nature of the average Ghanaian and the sloppy nature of our monitoring systems. Mark it on the wall, if you the President comes out with yet another system of dealing with the ghost names without addressing these issues, then be sure that the ghosts will be laughing at you at the other side as they would still withstand that changed system. What we should know is that it is human beings who are going to be put in-charge of this new system. The question is would these human beings be corruption free, greed free, ethnocentric free, etc? Before we cause another financial loss to the State, let us think of these. However, if it is to find another conduit to siphon our scarce resources in preparation for 2016 elections, then we can go ahead but indeed knowing very well that our target is not to eliminate ghost names. May the truth and indeed God who is the truth guide us in this exercise.

His intentions are black n white (DIE HARD) Nana Van dam but still he will die because he pronounced dead for himself. Only simple minded will fool for him…..Nana is not an achiever neither can he boast of any successful ambition than mischief. He is totally living on legacy which is not his toil but from the booty his forefathers pilfered from the state.

If so much is being lost to Ghosts, first the persons receiving those funds should be found by rigorous investigations and then the funding channel should be cut off. If we do not punish wrong doers this will go on forever. Refunding stolen money is not the answer. Funds must be refunded and culprits must be punished.
